Good luck to her. Hopefully the verdict will give Murdoch a heart attack and kill him.

Hopeful that she wins too - I don't see how the current situation is enforceable in the EU, where we have supposed free movement of goods and services.

Having said that, Newscorp (Sky) may just buy pan-European rights and find an alternate way to get their effective monopoly.

The EU has really screwed up on this.

By allowing 'competition' it has meant we now have to pay two broadcasters, rather than 1 if we are so stupid enough to want to watch the chirade that is the Premier League. Had it any sense, whatsoever, it would have made ALL games available to multiple broadcasters, allowing us to choose which one we bought. That would be a victory for the consumer.

Let's hope this Landlady wins, so that some sense is restored to this gravy train.

Wasn't there a case like this over a decade ago when people were pulling down the signal from overseas feeds?

"Officially, no UK-based broadcaster can show premiership football at the traditional kick-off time of 1500"

so the Sat 13:00 kick off's, the 17:30, Sunday, Monday and all the other BS times games are played (as dictated by sky) can be shown?

My local has Nova because Sky wanted about 1500 per month to have Sky in a bar not much bigger than my living room. I hope the greedy b*stards get stuffed :grrr:

All weekend matches should kick off at 3:00pm. If really pushed, I might with reluctance concede one Sunday match for people to watch on telly. But I'd rather not.

Very true, shame your Labour mates allowed Murdoch and the Prem to entrench themselves, even allowing their farce of a "football task force" to turn a blind eye to a mountain of sleaze and corruption.:vader:

This.

Nova are just like Sky but less greedy.

Its thanks to TV companies like the above and the customers who sit at home watching their packages that we have 'The big 4'.

They're all bad for real football fans.
