A while a go, somewhere on this forum, someone told me (think it was JX) how I can record what I'm playing on my Xbox. I can't remember what the name of the equipment was called and really can't remember what thread it was in, could someone enlighten me again.

Have a look for a hauppage HD pvr. That's what most of them use, will cost about £160 or you could try a dazzle. Both are available on Amazon. Would post links but I'm on my phone sorry

Dazzle is the one. Are they any good? I heard that if you are using one you can't use your HDMI cable into the TV, it has to be the scart.

They're OK. If you can afford i would definitely get the Haupauge over the dazzle. You can then play in HD and record in HD.

You can play in HD with the dazzle aslong as your TV has a AV & Component choice ( Thats when them extra leads Xbox supplied come in handy).
I picked up my dazzle for the £35.00 off ebay and had no issue with it.
