Exactly what it says on the tin. How do i convert a rar file into an MP3 for Mac?

I thought a .rar file was a compressed file like a .zip? So you'll need to extract it / uncompress it rather than convert.

Download software called WinRAR off download.com for instance

Once this is done:
-Right click the rar file
-Select 'extract to here'

Hopefully a file or folder will appear with the same name as the .rar file
Let us know what form the extracted file is. Hopefully it's an mp3

EDIT: Just realised you said for Mac. This is PC instructions, don;t know how different protocol would be for Mac.

Similar principle required on a Mac.

I use a application called UnRarX which I've never had a problem with.
