I do (and if it upsets a few of your more delicate fans then all the better). If it is our fans fault we went into administration then it follows that it is the fault of you lot that the ground was lost.

It is only an opinion so it means nothing to me and even less coming from you.
As i have said before i can remember your 3744 gate and your excuses for it.
We are now on the up and have a bright future, our ground may have been sold but at least we paid our debts.:hi:

Not at all I am never ashamed of my club, you see unlike some I could mention I don't take message boards too seriously and unfortunately NSC was getting a bit like that so I stopped posting. a bit like you 08 who only posts on here when Brighton are winning or something you think gets one over on us ie signing a 3m league one striker (why oh why you would feel that upsets us is beyond me, still hey ho). I mean a couple of years back when you had a decent start then fell away and were fighting relegation you were on here night and day just like you are now you have signed the aforementioned striker. As soon as you started losing you were not heard of on here for months until you had scraped survival. Predictable as night following day. I wont have to even look at Brighton's results this season I will know how they are doing because you will either be logged on or you won't!

On 19 January 2011, Woodgate played his first game in 14 months in a friendly match with QPR. The defender completed 45 minutes in a 9-2 victory at Spurs Lodge.

Following this, on 15 February, a Champions League tie with AC Milan, he came on in the 59th minute for the injured Vedran Ćorluka. He played out the rest of the game; however, was later diagnosed with a strain to his left adductor muscle. Spurs were unsuccessful in persuading Woodgate to agree a pay-as-you-play deal, and he was released on 16 June 2011.[23]
31 minutes and he missed the rest of the season.

Yes, we've already covered this. He's not worthy of his price tag, was worried about not being good enough for West Ham and Leicester and rotting in their reserves and being abused by the fans. Far more comfortable slotting into Brighton's squad, one that is ready-made for League 1 players or Championship flops, and Barry Fry is bound to wank all over whatever club it was that finally paid at least 2 or 3 times the value for his player.

Please tell me you don't! I think he is a coup for you really i do but i think there may well have been assurances from Brighton that were not forthcoming from the other two clubs that may well have swayed his decision, ie guaranteed starting slot. Smith is a good signing for you, yes he is unproven at this level but he certainly knows where the goal is and those type of players usually adjust pretty quickly so well done for getting him, but lets cut the crap about being more attractive than the other 2 clubs that were in for him , it is utter bollox and you know it.

Who gives a flying f**k Botty?

I'm not going to say he signed for you lot because of the money because he didn't. He signed because he thought you were a better option (bless him) than Leicester and West Ham. And by better option, he meant that he would start every game, fans would sing his name because the rest of the team is pony, and he would be a big fish in the tiny, piece of shite pond that is Brighton and Hove Albion FC.

I don't think that even you are deluded enough to believe that he went to BHAFC because they have a better chance of reaching the Prem than Leicester and West Ham. But with the shite that comes out the mouths of you 'Weeds fans, I never quite know

CMS clearly signed for the Bandits because he doesn't have much confidence in his ability. He's played in this division before, he was shit, and would get absolutely slated by Leicester/West Ham fans and eventually find himself on the bench.

At least at little old Brighton he'll be treated like a God no matter how he performs. (And knows he can score goals in League 1, for when you are relegated).

Time to put this whole 'he went to Brighton for footballing reasons' stuff to bed, WHP. This can be done if you, and all other Brighton fans answer these two questions as honestly as possible.

1) Who is the least likely out of these 3 clubs to get promoted to the Premier League next season?

a) West Ham
b) Leicester
c) Brighton

and....

2) Who is the most likely out of these 3 clubs to be relegated (back ;)) to Division 1 next season?

Well according to the bookies, west ham and leicester are joint favourites for the league so the the bookies answer to part 1 of your question would be Brighton.

For the second part, perhaps you would like to look who the bookies have as favourites for relegation, and whilst your there........ at 9/4 there is some piss easy money to be made.

or Who finishes higher in the table.

Or a tenner covering each bet

If we can get 5 from each, it could mean £100 heading to one of the charities or if the bets are split, £50 a piece.

There's no denying that it was a bad tackle, and the Palace fans' glorification of it is also unpalatable, but that impression of HH is really quite wrong. This old post sums it up for me:

I'm certainly not going to join in with any singing that glorifies that horrendous tackle (which was completely out of character for Henry).

We've got way more reasons to be singing and lauding it over Brighton fans than trying to put them down because of a tackle that ended a guys career.

Henry himself was never quite the same player after that either. A sad little episode only glorified by sad little people.

Henry was a good, honest pro. I remember at the time how contrite he was about the tackle, and at least had the balls to visit Ryan in hospital to apologise.

It's incredible isn't it - The arrogance of their fans is tedious.
They've had ONE good season and it's as if they have won the Champions League.
And all the sad losers do is come on our boards in droves and try and rub our noses in it - Have they got nothing better to do ? Can't they just continue what must betheir pathetic wankfest on NSC.
They've lost a couple of their better players and have replaced them at great cost. No one even knows if they will fit in - Just like us with Murray.
But they're behaving like they have signed Ronaldo and Messi - Utterly pathetic !!

Thought I would pop onto North Stand Chat today to see first-hand how the weeds were creaming themselves over Craig "11 goals in the Championship" Mackell-Smith. To my amusement I came across this thread among other's:

http://www.northstandchat.com/showthread.php?205657-Whispers-that-Woodgate-and-Ambrose-are-on-the-verge-of-signing!

Now don't get me wrong, I expected to read on and find it was a wind up but most of these clowns are getting into a right state at the prospect of both player's joining! There was also another thread about them signing Jem Karacan from Reading, who just missed out on a place in the Prem by a whisker.

Forget the rivalry for one second. Is there seriously a set of supporters out there more delusional that this lot? Someone needs to tell them that they need to spend about another £6 million just to get up to the standard required at this level.

I'm sure Southampton fans would give them a run for their money, but they, unlike Brighton, actually have some empiric evidence of being able to sustain a high level of support and playing in the top two tiers for a prolonged period.

Brighton are in for a huge wakeup call this season if they, in their tiny deluded little minds, seriously believe they won't struggle.

And I for one can't wait till it all comes crashing down on the little ******* ****flaps

I think people are being a bit harsh on the weeds. Anyone remember how good it felt when we got up to the Premiership and the whole summer was spent on cloud nine? For Brighton, getting to the Championship is like us getting to the Premiership, happens every now and then but in reality the club's natural placement is a bit lower.

Yes they'll enjoy their trips to such big clubs as Coventry, Derby and Barnsley, not to mention their cup final against their consistently superior rivals. They'll probably finish about 16th. But then Gus will get a job at a Premiership club and they're next season will end in dismal failure and they'll drop down again.

Yep I'm in. So just to be sure of the rules. Its 2 £10 bets. one for most points over our 2 games and the other for highest league position.

I would gladly send £10 if you manage to win 1 or £20 if you manage to win both of those 2.

Are you sure Paul?, you may as well set fire to £20 now

However, in his defence, it does seem he has learnt his lesson, and I expect better behaviour from now on.

I think craig is a bit different from Glenn, as Craig was the top target for Gus this summer, Glenn was already here. Also that increases Craigs value to Brighton as it wasn't just about the money but a statement to Gus that he had Tonys full backing.

In the recent head to head both Murray and CMS scored one goal each. I can't see a fairer basis of comparison.

One player was a freebie, the other cost 3 million. I suspect the player that cost 3 million may be on higher wages, too.

Maybe we are jealous that we don't have 3 million to waste on players, when the logical thing would have been to ffer the CMS wages to Murray to get him to stay.
