A few things I'd like to ask about Alan Curbishtw@t.
1) Are You Called a 'Family Club' because Curbs has been doing 'Rixes'?
2) Do You realise, that the only chance you've got of owning the dome is through umm..... Ummm......? Oh yeah You've got no chance you'll have to put up with your heap of **** !
3)How is Alan Curbishley any better than Bassett? He can get teams up but they won't stay there, something else in common is that you know there's something dodgy about the bast*rd you just can't prove it?
4) Why did everybody like you last year?
5) Do you remember us beating you in the play-offs a few years ago?
6) Like fulham where were you when you were broke?
********************************************
Actually I can answer that....

As a lifelong Palace supporter I am worried about the mentality of some of the people who post messages on here.
Do you realise you all look completely stupid with all this "Clowntown are Gypos" stuff.
Look, Charlton are currently a good side with a good manager. Fair play to them. They will be going up to the premiership this year, they may come down again, who can tell.
I have lots of friends who are Charlton supporters and none of them live in a caravan. In fact a couple of them are very wealthy.
We have far more important things to worry about. Let's forget about this continual sniping at Charlton and concentrate on Crystal Palace, our financial situation and whether or not we will win our next game.
What a crap read this page is and how did you get the picture of my mums house, the pit bull should of smelt a myopic Palarse sucker a mile off. You were lucky to get out without a barrel of buckshot up your sorry threadbare arses. Trolling around the country trying to get photos of our homes, just imgagine the japes and larks you could think up if you really did give a **** about us. I have just registered my support for that great journo Mick Dennis, when I park up in London I always look forward to reading his astute comments. So half of London now knows he thinks you are a Mickey Mouse Club, well now they can join the other half can't they. Cheerio and we will see you red and blue pyjama brigade at Sellout very soon. Give my regards to Stevie "argh i can't take the pressure" Coppout.

I have to agree with Alan from Bromley here. There is always a place for baiting of other teams as long as it is done with a sense of fun otherwise we just sound like a load of whingers supporting a team so crap that the only enjoyment we get is from slagging off other supporters. Either that or we are a bunch of 12 year olds who have just discovered the internet and may one day discover the maturity to actually use it properly.
Rant over.
Charlton are currently doing well because they have built a good team and have the second best manager in the division. Their being promoted doesn't bother me as they have worked hard and, based on current results, they deserve it. I do have dislikes towards certain teams for reasons I won't go into here but the effort I expend on poking fun at those teams comes a very distant second to supporting Palace.

Turn it in.
They start posting "cant wait to see you go bust" messages we then retaliate and they get "Palace" fans backing them. How about you read the threads, form your opinions and keep them to yourselves. Or alternatively post your pro-charlton messages on their pokey little boards. Charlton fans comments don't wind me up- only comments by apathetic Palace fans.

And it's the retaliation that gives them their little thrill. Like all trolls they go away if you don't feed them.
As for the 'pro-Charlton' bit please realise that pro-Palace doesn't have to mean anti-anything else. Football is only black and white if you are a Newcastle fan :-)

I risk getting some stick from this but here goes anyway.
I don't in anyway dislike Charlton. They are a small, well run South London club who have achieved marvellous things since they left Selhurst and I admire their fans for sticking with them through thick and thin as we are doing with Palace.
My boss is a Charlton supporter (he is also President of Maidenhead and Chairman of Plymouth Parkway). He is one of the nicest people you could wish to work for. When it comes to collecting money to help save Palace, he will be one of the first to contribute. He always wishes Palace well and other clubs too as he is a genuine football fan (he hates the Moaners too though).
When Charlton wanted to move back to the Valley, I understood their supporters' feelings and would have helpled them if I could have and I hope that some of Charlton's true supporters would help us in our time of need.

What a lovely caravan, is it for sale? I hear that Norwood council will soon be opening a new travellers site when Sellout Park becomes available. I believe that it's currently used for football, Wimbledon and some other amateur "Mickey Mouse" outfit. Wimbledon will of course move on to a proper stadium and the other lot will just die I suppose. Can I put in a cash offer in now for the scrap or shall I speak to uncle Ron ?

Remember it is us (Charlton) who own our home ground, training ground etc, you don't own Selhurst or the training ground, even the rollers & cutters are rented from Ron.
7 1/2% of your gate and bar takings go back to Ron.
May be you should look very hard at the caravans, you might be putting in a offer very soon, oh sorry renting one from Ron.

Believe me Charlton is rough as hell. I have the misfortune to having to travel on a train that passes through the train station every day whilst going to & from work.
We now have uniformed security guards on our trains due to all the muggings, rapes and assaults that take place on this line. Funnily enough, the roughest part of the journey is between Woolwich and Charlton - this is bandit country.
I think that Connex should employ a couple of ex SAS soldiers to ride shotgun and pick off any local youths they get in their sights whilst we pass through the area.
Remember that it was a train on the Charlton line that was held up at gunpoint and actually made Crimewatch. The sales of caravans surged in the area as the crooks got away with a small fortune.

Unfortunately I lived in Woolwich for 3 years and had the misfortune to bump into a few of their "gimps" now and then. They could be found in General Gordon Square or whatever it was called drinking cans of super and begging. They were a sad sight and if not living in caravans tended to squat in Plumstead. It's a shame it can't disappear into the Thames. I remember your footy specials to Selhurst you pikies from Woolwich Arsenal station-you couldn't even fill them. You were pathetic and it took 5years of apathy b4 you did anything to return home. C ya in March.

They may have to cancel their fixture on Saturday as half the 1st team squad and their families are due to appear on Jerry Springer this weekend.

Better teams have lost out on promotion with over 2 months to go, and if everyone can see Charlie are going up, why hav'nt they said so. There's nothing wrong with winding them up, they come on here and do it to us !

Got to laugh at SE19CPFC, he should take a look at his own backyard (SE19 Upper Norwood) what a rubbish dump.
The pic's all look like best bits of New Addington to me.

Many thanks pikie boy for taking a shot in the dark in saying what a dump SE19 is. Prices there as soaring far higher than in many parts of London. So it can't be that bad. Remind me what houses go for in Woolwich. It stinks in Woolwich and you know it, there was always a rank smell in the air, probably from the lack of washing facilities you lot have. Are there enough race meeetings coming up for you to send your wives too, to sell heather at to raise the £20 needed to get into Selhurst?

While not living in Woolwich (I’m in Bromley) I certainly do not think Woolwich is a wonderful area, but it’s no worse than Norwood (land of the no MOT X reg Beeeeeeeemer). However if you think that SE19 is up & coming then I’m afraid that you’re not fooling anybody. It’s even many steps down from Penge.
I can speak from experience on the merits of SE19 as I had the misfortune to go to spend some of my schooldays down the road in Penge & go out with a girl in Waldergrave Rd off Anerley Hill. It was, is & always will be a **** hole. If you are looking for a **** hole area which is on the up then I suggest you try Lewisham or the riverside of Deptford.

Woolwich is a ****hole, I kid you not. All the decent shops have closed to be replaced by the £1 anything U want places - which is where Curbishley picked up Steve Brown from funnily enough.

Am I the only Palace fan that finds the use of the term 'gypo'as a form of abuse and all the negative sterotypes that come with it a bit on the racist side, revealing as it does a certain dislike and intolerance of those who live an 'alternative' lifestyle.I'm not saying don't give Charlton fans stick, but surely there are plenty of other ways of doing it,that are more becoming of Palace fans.Plain sad would do for me.Or am I being a tad oversensitive?
