View Full Version : What...
....a useless site this is. You have to have a special "Away fans" section in case we come on here and say rude things to you on your "real" discussion part.
Anyway, to business....
Are you looking forward to a big club coming to visit? That's a club with a proper fan base, ground, team, and so on. We'll take you apart and leave you to go out of business the following week.
I reckon Crystal Palace 0 - 5 Man City.
I expect there will be more of us along later so look out for us.

You sound more like you come from the red half of Manchester!? Or are all supporters from Lancashire just ******s.
Believe me, this site leaves Blue View for dead.

To beat this lot all we need to do is play just like Gillingham and hope the ref doesn't add on 17 minutes of injury time. Actually at 8,000 tickets (allegedly) at £20 a pop, plus profits from half time bar sales that will easily be £200,000 coming in from one quarter of the ground. With income like that we'll probably be singing "can we play you every week" regardless of the score :-)
.....and don't forget to hurry on through London Bridge station just in case our inbred neighbours ARE awaiting your arrival.
We wouldn't want you turning up all late and damaged now would we?

Your neighbour is what`s called a big club not you.Living in their shadow has obviously left you bitter and twisted.
Looks like Ipswich will take the other slot so you`ll be reduced to greasing the ref`s palm again.
Tosser!!!

This is better than Blueview eh? You're talking out of your backsides my friends.
Still I bet you can't wait to see a premiership class team play at your little ground can you? Only a few days to go to see us beat you.
3-0 to City I say.

Can i ask why all you Manchester supporters talk like crap. If I remember when we played you at Maine Road you weren't such 'Premier Class' then were you. Ok you beat us 2-1 but that's after we went 1-0 up and we nearly equalised late on. To be honest you are even lucky to be playing in this division this year, if it wasn't for a bent referee that somehow finds 5 minutes to add on at the end then you would still be in Division 2. If you think it's gonna be a breeze on saturday then i think you've another thing coming, Palace will fight you all the way to the end untill the whistle blows and if at the end of it all we beat you then I would love to see all your faces as you see Ipswich go further clear of you in the table. Give Palace more credit you guys, i thought you were better than those stuck up United fans, seems not though and i'll be laughing when Nicky goes walking and Forssell slots into an open net!!! It'll be 2-1 Palace.

Blueview is the most simplistic form of Bulletin Board available and is basically just a list of comments. I'm not sayin this is MUCH more than a list but it is a bit more. The quality of conversation is better (other than the Away FAns Forum, which is just general Slagging off in the main)

You is right Mr, I is very sorries.
Quite surprised by this thread actually- i always thought Palace-City had a reasonable relationship- Cup Final and all that
Oh well

I can't believe all this cr*p coming from you City fans, I always thought City and Palace shared the same ideals, i.e a passionate hatred of those murdering red bast*rds you share a city with, I hope you lot sober up and remember to sing the footballing national anthem of "stand up if you hate Man. U", to reaffirm my belief that all f*cking ignorant Mancunian w@nkers support the red scum.

The regestering bit is so you can have other features like set names, number of posts etc. It only takes a second and it's not to keep people out. Is it really that hard? The away fans forun is there for those who can't be bothered.

Dreamland Dave, the worst football violence I ever personally experienced was away at City. Those fans I met back then were complete ******* animals who took great delight in beating up a bunch of palace supporting kids. I personally took at least two milk bottles over the head in trying to stop their disgusting actions.
The Club however were brilliant about it, and hearing from the police, who had watched (!!!) what was going on, what had happened I was invited into the box to watch the rest of the game and fed at half time and again at the end of the game.

I also thought Palace and City had a good relationship. If I remember rightly our last home game of the 89-90 season was against City and at half-time the stewards allowed a couple of City fans onto the pitch whereupon they unfurled a banner wishing us luck the following week in the Cup Final.
Also, at the Cup Final itself myself and my Dad were surrounded by City fans all cheering us on and baying for United's blood.
I can only think that little Bassett episode a few years back has soured things.

I've never had a problem with ManCity, and thought they didn't have one with us. Super Geoff Thomas was a Man City fan, which made them go up in my estimation.
The only thing that winds me up about them is how much they hate Stevie Coppell. To be fair, he bought Eddie McGOldrick, and Simon Rodger was loaned, other than that he didn't f*ck up your squad (unlike that C*nt Venables), or hang around. He took the job, relised he wasn't the man for it and walked away.
Save the hate for Charlton.

Hang on a minute,"MCFC" doesn't speak for all of us.Let me address the balance.I think most Blues have alot of time for Palace (I bet he wasn't at Selhurst in 89) and wish you all the best in this difficult period.Obviously we want a win tomorrow, though without Goater we will struggle to score. Also the pace of Forsell could prove decisive aginst our slow central defence. However it turns out I wish Palace all the best(keep on hating Man U).
I meant 90 of course,sorry.

My faith is restored in you. Your fans were pretty good today, I thought, none of you seemed to have that much against us.

I can only think that little Bassett episode a few years back has soured things.
Actually the following fixture at Maine Road in January 1997 was pretty amusing, seeing as how we kept singing pro-Bassett songs, pro-Coppell songs ("There's only one Stevie Coppell"), sung far more anti-United songs and got a jammy point out of an outrageously bad performance (George Ndah scoring with a header to equalise in the last ten minutes when most of us had given up hope).
Meanwhile City fans were consoling themselves with the introduction of their latest saviour... Frank Clark. As I chanted at the time, "Who are ya?".
Great away trip though.
