Played in the 2002 World Cup. Was 34 years old. Collapsed with a heart attack during training with his JLS team Matsumoto Yamaga

Major heatwave in Japan at the moment - there have been a number of deaths due to heatstroke in the last couple of months, so I guess it shouldn't be much of a surprise that someone out doing intensive physical exercise could suffer problems.

We've been under a severe heatwave here in Georgia and two high school football players have died this week due to practicing in the heat. Really sad.
