Identity, character, excitement vs. Identikit, souless, dull.
Brighton's Durex lego bowl is the latter. I really hope we keep the glass idea if the planned move happens so we can be the former.

looks more snake like at first glance
but atleast they've added some character and made it unique, not the normal plastic bowl design we see churned out

It is unique and is linked to the football club and big just a publicity stunt.
I wonder if we could get an eagle stadium... No? Okay.

That is pretty awesome. Can't we have a massive eagle claw on our new stadium roof?

As it's at Crystal Palace Park how about 4 dinosaur shaped towers in the 4 corners? And the opposition could run out of the ar*e of a Stegosaurus.

Given Bursaspor's nickname (the 'Green Crocodiles'), it's no wonder the designers decided a massive crocodile head wrapped around the outside of the 45,000-seat stadium was the best way to intimidate their opponents.
Scheduled to be completed in time for the beginning of the 2013 season, the Timsah Arena will boast state-of-the-art facilities and will totally transform the central suburb of Osmangazi, in the club's home city of Bursa.
Planning videos released by developers show sweeping panoramic shots of the stadium.
And it seems that at night is when the crocodile head really comes alive with high-powered illumination lighting up the eyes and mouth of the 'reptile'.
All this comes at a price, you may be thinking.
Well, yes, but not as much as it could have been - with the club, along with the local government, putting forward £42m for development and construction. That's around five per cent of the cost of building Wembley.
Bursaspor are aiming high after winning the Turkish Super Lig in 2009/10 and it is hoped the stunning design will aid the Turkish Football Federation's bid to host Euro 2020.
They narrowly lost out to France in their bid to host the 2016 European Championships.

I like it. It's unique. We should have an eagle with it's wings wrapped round the entire stadium with the head looking down over the main stand. Awesome

yeah, bonkers - but only France, Italy and Turkey bid. Shame England didn't but I think the FA put all theif eggs in the World Cup basket.
Seven countries have so far expressed an interest in hosting the 2020 champs.
Armenia + Azerbaijan + Georgia
Belgium
Bosnia-Herzegovina + Croatia + Serbia
Czech Republic + Slovakia
Romania + Bulgaria or Hungary
Netherlands
Turkey
