Nah, thanks for the offer though I think I'll stay here if its ok with you. Seems like the place to be at the moment if you want a laugh. Arse licking never really been up my alley I think you'll find that its called respect. Probably a word you dont understand. It's something we at Brighton have for Charlton fans, not only did they fight (again somehting you wouldnt know about)to save their club through the only way they knew..Lazio banner Ha ha ha cant stop laughing about that.
But more importantly they were easily the best represented club at our Fans United day by about 4 times the next bext club.

Charlton an example to Brighton? What a concept! The allegiences that could be formed!

Homosexual crusty gypsies, with dogs on a string, selling lucky heather from one pocket and sticks of rock from the other, wairing big clown boots in a big top, put up by some Romany cowboys on the Palace Pier, with a fleet of caravans parked up on the beach.

Great stuff!

And Palace weren't represented!?! We're your Rivals...remember. If Palace had been well represented then it would have obviously kicked-off.
I remember 4-4-2 magazine done an article on that day. The lead picture was of a plaque with a message of support from a Palace fan. It said
" I'll never forget the promotion battles of the late 70's...etc" "But this is a fight FOR football fans, we're with you all the way on this one"
Again, short memory or happy to be alive?

Oh and I never heard a song for the demise of Brighton, sung, written or whatever...

Brick In The Wall ..... Typical Millscum have a go when you are not alone eh!! http://cpfc-bbs.com/ubb/wink.gif

FYI Palace never screwed the gypos when they squatted at Selhurst, If you had been reading (can you do that?) the threads, you would know that Altonwood got the money, Palace got none of it.
Not that there was a lot on such **** gates.
And at least Noades company gave them a place to play!

Now Piss Off and look for some mates so you can go bully someone.

Noades is Palace, Palace is Noades all goes in the same Bin.

Don't believe you lot wanting the bloodsucker back at the blood bank, when will you learn, he will shaft you again & again. When he was still at CPFC he made a bid for Gillingham via a front company. I know this from the Gillingham administrator & Paul Scully the Gills Chairman.

2 years ago he was 666
Now he is The Second Coming

Is the the same fans who ripped Charlton off at Selout when they were skint ?
!!!!!!!!!!

You stupid misguided piece of Tesco toting scum.
Is this the same fans who ripped of Charlton?

Lesson no 1 in football ground ownership.
The fans don't actually collect the gate receipts.
Actually sorry about that your recent gate receipts of £7.35p per match probably do go to you fans to buy condoms for their weekend rent boy activities.

If any of you could put aside your petty jealousies for a minute you would realise that this is about football, not rivalry.
If anyone of you wants to claim differently then perhaps the Charlton fans amoungst you could return to me the £25 I donatec your political campaign and the BHA boys could refund my entrance money from the game I attended at The Goldstone to support you.
You should all grow up. You can all take the piss out of my team and our position in the league, in fact CAFC fans are fully entitled to gloat as your side is comfortably the best in this division and deserves it's promotion. But if you think it would be funny to laugh over our grave then grow up, you will both be next.

Oh I nearly forgot our Millwall friends...........................................
Who are you?

James they have`nt the least interest in football. They sound like a bunch of spotty youths larging it behind a PC.
Their opinions really do`nt count. They just serve to embarass the real supporters of the clubs these herberts profess to follow.

fnatastic stuff, been reading arguments with Charlton fans, all I can say is go on you REDS! If these arguments had been a boxing match the fight would have been stopped by now !

Charlton, what these Palarse fans cant come to grips with is how you have put them in the shade in recent years they are in fact extrememly jealous but only way of appearing not to care is to pretend they dont care about you !!

They'd rather hate us because we more at their level..lol

Can tbeleive they are calling you pikies dont they realise what a f*cked up mes their club is in, from what I gather Charlton are one of the soundest financially run clubs in England ! Clowns, well thats a good one also someone pass them a mirror : ) Do they not realise that the whole footie world is laughing at them. What a way to run a club.

Oh yeah and the icing on the cake is the hope that Lazio will put up a banner in the game against Juventus to 'alert the footballing world to their plight' Classic !

I have no feelings of hate or like towards Charlton , only respect for what their fans did when they were in trouble in the 80's. They got off their arses , ran in local elections got the councillors kicked out and got their club back on a sound footing , they didnt sit on the stripey backsides for 13 months and then think 'DOH we are in trouble, I know lets get a banner to go up in a serie A game that should do it'.

Respect to CAFC fans you and your club are an example to us all.

Nuff said

Well Said Albion, as a Millwall fan here is a view from the Den:

Palace fans were crying on saturday on the radio about Charlton fans booing and whistling when they had the half time announcements regarding the proposed fans takeover. "how dare they" & " we would not do it to them" along with the classic "it's bad for football if WE go out of business"
Excuse me ?
But is this the same set of fans that danced on our grave a few years ago ?
Is the the same fans who ripped Charlton off at Selout when they were skint ?
Was this the same people singing "we will never play you again" when leading 4-1 at the Den ?
The quote "what goes around, comes around" springs to mind.
But, having said all that, I don't want them to go out of business.
I want to see you struggle and go down. Thats much more fun.
Then go out of business !!!!!!!!!!

Dont wan to see them go out of business either Brick , i mean who would we and Charlton have to laugh at then ?

Cheers Albion,

I only hope that when you play Palarse in a few seasons time you give them a right royal hiding.

You see, i think palarse fans believe that charlton fans want them to go out of business. That's rubbish, we only want to see them struggle and languish in the lower leagues so we can laugh at them, the circus act that they are.

Albion,

I remember the SLP publishing a Palace fanzine which gloated like crazy when we and you nearly went bust - I remember song sheets of full words about Charlton Going Bust and all. So excuse me if I don't show any compassion to our Surrey cousins.

The people I feel sorry for are the backroom staff who have been axed as part of the cut-backs and Steve Coppell who has acted with remarkable dignity and integrity throughout.

The fans no chance.

Deluded tossers...
You have no idea, what has been going on. We have been fed lies & false hopes since the day Goldberg signed-up two years ago. Two or three weeks ago just after the trust was launched our Chairman still went on TV telling everyone that the club will be sold within three days. The Trust has taken five months to get the legalities out of the way. Brighton fans, Charlton fans done what was needed of them and fair play to them for that. However, forming a political party or goiung round banging on Goldbergs door would do sweet FA to our cause.

**** Millwall, Charlton & Brighton fans that want to laugh at us. Keep Laughing, along with the rest of football as we're thick skinned.
IF Palace can, most definately, go bust then Millwall, Charlton & Brighton certainly can as well. You've all been in the same boat and it could happen again..... short memories? Or just glad to be alive?

Your comments could have an adverse affect on innocent fellow Brighton, Millwall supporters in the future. I quote "swings in roundabouts"

Welcome Albion, whilst your inane ramblings are the usual sort of bullsh1t we have come to expect from the seaweed scum, it is a welcoming change to at least have a proper rival to speak to.

What I find amusing is your complete arse licking of the Charlton supporters, but then being a Brighton boy I guess arses are your speciality.

Still, now that you are here why don't you Rolling Mist and the rest of your gypsy family move on to another web-site and leave us to deal with our real rivals.

Thank you and **** off.

I've not actually read all of this thread (it's late and I'm off to bed) but Palace hate Brighton for reasons of tradition as much as anything else. We just don't have a tradition of rivalry with Charlton and the other South London clubs which I suppose is a pity as we don't play the Seaweed much.

What a shame that you people (that is an assumption you are human) do not do something with whatever little brain you were given (Young Frankenstein "Abby Normal")!
I am sure the above may be a little bit above your level of intelligence, but what else should we expect from the Supporters of such Clubs?

30-03-2000, 10:00 PM
They're just trying to wind you up. There is not a Brighton/Charlton alliance on this one, I've always had a soft spot for Charlton but, as I mentioned elsewhere they've been advertising in our area for new supporters!! This is out of order. Isn't London big enough?

The truth about Palace support for OUR plight is that we would not know how many turned up at Fans Utd, because some idiots WOULD have started on them!

This isn't about who supported who anyway, this is about the soul of football! If a club like Palace can go under then no one outside the top six clubs is safe.
