Dear Palarse,

Congrats on your result on Saturday and staying up - told you not to worry didn't I.
Looks like young Ashley is developing into a skillful little player for Arsenal.

Just wondering whether The Dons' iminent relegation would have any direct or indirect financial implications for your 'plucky' club. Also wanted to add that Charlton will truly be Number 1 in South London if Wimbledon go down as we'll be the only Prem club south of the river.

See ya, wouldn't wanna be ya.

Thanks Rolling,

I'm already looking forward to the year after next, when if Wimbledon don't go straight down to the 2nd, we will be able to see who is the best 1st division club in South London The mighty Eagles, the Wombles, or the Charlatons.

And just to add a little spice to the mini league that year will probably occur-unless we go up next season!!- don't forget Millwall.

Here's to Millwall being pipped bt Stoke for that final play off place. The streets will be safer for two Saturdays of the year anyway.

Cheers for your sentiments Rolling.

Rolling - I take it that your "plucky" reference is a bit of a dig at the fact that we are in severe danger of taking your lot's place as "media darlings" if things go on like they have been?

Good luck next season. Enjoy your time as No.1 - after this season of trial and the last one of despair we can now all empathise with what it must have been like to be a Charlton fan for the last 30 years or so and it's not a nice feeling at all.

Ashley Cole will play for England within 2 or 3 years. Curbishley could do a lot worse than splash some of that dosh you've got on him, though it would be galling to see him in your colours. He's ******* brilliant!

Finally, if you've been browsing the boards you'll have noticed that the Blackbum fans have said that ours was "far and away the best support we've seen this season" and are wishing that they could come even close to it at Ewood.

So you may be the number one team soon but you'll never be the number one fans. That's US.

Stoke won today, which puts them 3 points above Millwall, and puts them into 6th place, and they have 2 goal difference! Stoke have to lose on Saturday by a margin of 3 goals, and Millwall have to win by a margin of 3 goals. If they both win, Stoke get playoff place!

After bveing number one for so long I suppose it's only fair we let Charlton have a go for a season. I also want Millwall to go up to relive those great atmospheres. Lets face it we aint playing the Seaweed for a while.

Am I the only one who thinks that Charlton might struggle next season? Anyway although I don't like the attitude of many of their fans towards us I will always wish the smaller clubs who go up luck in the money bags league. Although not turn coat Sven, what is the betting he is farmed off to Wolves or someone without kicking a ball in the Prem. I also hope Lions go up as it will be 6 points nearer the play offs for the Palace.

Has anyone noticed they only won the league by 2 points in the end? One more game and, on current form, they wouldn't even have been champions. http://www.cpfc.org/ubb/clown.gif

Yes, we've stopped hearing about how they've one the "toughest 1st Division ever" by the "widest margin ever".

Funny that.

Their lack of professionalism during the last few weeks augurs well for a long season of struggle next year.

Here's hoping...

I maintain that chorlton and the wheelies are one of the worst sides i've seen play us all season, home & away.

the last 7 games has purely seen the luck they've had all season run out.

i wish them luck next season, they'll certainly need it if they don't want to be relegated by christmas.

Superb run-in of no win in seven games! They WILL struggle in the Premiership, especially if they lose Robinson and Newton to injury at any point. I don't fancy Sven to get a starting place either.

As a small club in the Prem league, good-luck to Charlton Pathetic, but I'm afraid the only good thing there has been Alan 'Turd'ishley's management
