I was very impressed by Dos Santos, Stankovic, Ibrahimovic, Neymar and Martinez.
And some fella called Darren Ambrose scored an unbelievable goal at Old Trafford :lux:

He might be a granny shagging wanker but Rooney's goal was superb as well.

In my opinion, Neymar's goal was one of the best I have ever seen. The skill he showed in two different areas of the pitch was just magical. Stankovic's was incredible too, and then Messi's goal against Real in 3rd place.

As I said Neymar's goal utterly reeks of a futsal upbringing. If you want to see where they get it from google futsal. Ronaldinho is another player where it is so apparent he spent his youth playing that form of the game.
The FA would do well to realise this is the way forward for youth football.

:)
Using it with some Under 7s I coach, it's unbelievably good as a coaching tool.

I disn't discover it until I was 21.
I missed out on a call up to the Eng u21s by being a couple of months too old. Back then there were probably only 500 regular players in England but I was still gutted.

Gutting :(
Didn't play until I played on the university circuit for 3 years, played against some of the best sides in the country. Did wonders for my game and touch.
Came out of university and there's bugger all in the grand scheme of things, nearest place to me that has regular leagues and a side is over an hour away.

I picked it up at university as well. We had the first university futsal club (set up by my striking partner for our college side who was english but married a Brazilian and lived out there for a while). We played in the only national league at the time). Was great fun, myself and Dom were pretty much the only English guys in the team. A load of Brazilian and Portuguese guys and this lad from Saudi who was superb.
Was some time ago now. 1998 when we started. I heard it had taken off in universities since then.
