As a fair minded Charlton fan, i want to offer you congratulations on coming out your problems.

I personally don't like Palarse and don't give a stuff about what you do / don't feel towards Charlton. However, seeing a team you don't like struggle is enjoyable, but no one who loves football wants to see them go out of business. Only the narrow minded. Although we have all had a great laugh at your expense for the last year or so, no true Charlton fan wanted to see Palarse go to the wall.

So go out and have a few beers tonight. And here's hoping that Jordan is the next Goldberk !!!!

And good luck with your campaign next season in the premier league.

I see only today that you have signed 11 new female players to help you in the relegation struggle.

Any of them better than Svennsson ? (thanks for the cash BTW).

Does Jordan wear braces?

CA, why don't you just go back from where you came from.
Ok your glad to see us come out of admin but to say you were glad to see us struggling really iritates me especially as you were in the same boat in the 80's.
I think you will now see a stronger Palace that will be a tough match for anyone and don't be surprised if we are up ther next season.
I would love it if we passed you on the way up as you ARE coming down.

Coke, thanks for the sentiment.

I'd just like to say I'm looking forward to seeing some great football down the Valley, when Croydon ladies play there, pity they'll be the only home team to win there regularly.

See you in a years time.

We're gonna play you again'

It's all very quiet from the away fans today, isn't it?

don't kid yourself clapham that the silence is anything to do with your boys being saved by the bell whilst tucked up on the ropes.

i think you'll find there's been a general feeling of ennui and languor for the past month - for some reason though it took a couple of imbeciles, both with a warped sense of humour, to kickstart this forum into life for 72 hours.

yes gavin, you are unfortunate enough to be 1 of the aforementioned 2.

Congratulations Palarse - I sincerely hope that you remain the 2nd biggest club in South London for some time to come, and I also hope that Jordan knows what he's let himself in for.

Mid-table next season boys for both of us.

It's the end of a nightmare chapter in the history of Crystal Palace FC. We must give Jordon time to sort things out as I'm confident he will.

Charltons success from a position of mediocracy just a few years back must be an encouraging sign to look at, we can and will bounce back. It must also be remembered that through out this our fans never deserted the club and continued turning up through out the Administration period, unlike another south London clubs fans who weren't prepared to start turning up, if they ever really existed at all that is, until they had Premiership football at the Valley!!? We've all probably gained something from this experiance as well, the Jordon take over is just brilliant news!

We just need our REAL rivals brighton in the cup next year at Selhurst.

Who cares about 'no rivals' Charlton and their irrelvant opinions. We might just have our club back and can now look to the future with possibley slightly more to hope for than mere survival. I suppose it is fair to say that Charlton do provide a role model for us as far as the way that club has built itself up from nothing. However in many ways we can start our rebuilding in much better shape than they were able to. Even before Jordan took charge we had sold 8,000 season tickets and we had average gates of 15,000 last season, we also have a ground with a good capacity. It took Charlton years to get where they are now and am I the only one who feels that there is a big question mark over how many of these 'fans' they have acquired since Wembley in 1998 will still go once the bubble bursts and they return to being the normal mediocre Thames Estuary nobodies we've always ignored over the years?

Middle of the table? I for one would take that in a heart beat?

Since when has Charlton been considered Sarf London, that is like us calling ourselves New Yorkers http://www.cpfc.org/ubb/supergrin.gif

The Clowns may be a better team at the moment but we are still a much bigger team. Its funny how their gates of under 10,000 (first year back @ the valley) suddenly went to 19,000 last year!

Smelly Pikeys. Who else here battered a gyppo in South Norwood High Street.
