View Full Version : Coppell
I can't believe that Coppell has gone. Jordan must be mad. Steve must have thought to himself, "Good, the finances have been sorted out, I'll have some money to spend and in fact, be a 'normal' manager."
I don't think Alan Smith is the answer for you.

I am not surprised Steve has left. I don't like the way it has been done though.
Clearly Mr Jordan wanted a 'new' man in charge, and the lost friendlies were the perfect excuse for it.
In one way I think Steve has done all he can for Palace, and it was probably right for both parties for him to step down, but with honour, not as it has come over that he has left by 'mutual consent' i.e: sacked!
It appears Alan Smith is returning-hardly a forward move. Alan couldn't cut it with us in the Premiership. Steve gave us our best finish in it.
Perhaps Jordan wants a yes man he can dominate. I get the feeling he is going to be another interferer team-wise like Noades was.
This has left a sour taste in my mouth I can tell you; Jordan didn't even have the decency to offer Steve a director of football type role-no doubt something Simon has lined up for himself!

Thanks for your comments Wallington I see you are just as shocked as we are regarding this whole issue. And yes you right on Alan Smith being a bad choice to manage us.
I never though that I would agree with a seaweed on any subject.
A PALACE FAN NOW IN EXILE UNTIL SMITH F*CK OFF!
