Worthing Eagle

Year on year Brighton huff and puff but fail to open up a Ryman Div 1 defence. Chants of "nick-wack paddy wack give a dog a bone, Crystal Palace f*** off home", were met by a cry of "sit down, shut up!" from the back of the terrace...brave lads!
Heartening to see that Brighton's summer signings were utter crap, one Brighton fan exclaiming "we paid money for him???". The new midfielder Carpenter from Cardiff didn't give Zidane (or even Carlton Parmer) anything to worry about.
The Brighton fans summed up their mentality with the full bodied chant "I'd rather be a paki than a turk". 5 minutes later, two Brighton fans behind me got involved in a scuffle after one of them told Gary Willard in no uncertain terms that he was a "f*****g c**t", to which the other replied "my kids are here, go and stand with those morons over there if you wanna use that language".
Coupled with Brighton's mediocre performance it made for an entertaining event. Especially when Brighton brought on Warren Aspinall, a good player 3 or 4 years ago, but now about 38 and sporting a beer belly. To me, he didn't look out of place at all!
