Football kit is shite.

All looks shite.

Not enough Union Jack about it.

Just a chance for some "fashion expert" to make a mockery of the flag with some artistic license. The flag is Red, White and one shade of blue. Not Various shades of blue, some white with a small red trim.

Another thread to descend into Olympics bashing. Great.

From memory not many of the past Olympic kits have featured much red. Do you think Italians moan about there not being enough green and red in their kits?

I think it looks great, and the training gear is very nice too.

I like the football shirt - though am curious why they released a supporter's shirt last year that looks nothing like it?

Can't see many people buying it for leisure wear. Too tight, not casual enough. They missed a trick there.

Not that impressed - it's over-designed for my tastes.

Would prefer something alot simpler.

Basketball kit seems to be very different from the others. Also very strange for a football kit to be one colour on one side of the body. Looks like its designed to clash with as many other kits as possible.

She's f'cked the Union Flag up. God it looks like the bl@@dy Saltire of Scotland. No red as in red, white and blue.

They dont look good, too much blue, not enough red

23-03-2012, 09:11 AM
red doesn't appear to have featured much in previous GB Olympic kits

I don't get it. I thought red was supposed to be the luckiest colour in team sport statistically. So wouldn't it have been better to do more red than blue?

I didn't realise midget tossing was now an Olympic event.

The marketing is a bit naughty on this football kit. I braught my son the GB kit for Christmas but that is now called the "Supporters" kit. He is happy with what he's got, but it's a bit of a con.

Why is the St George's Cross part of the Union flag blue? :veryangry

The sooner the nonsense that is the Act of Union is abolished the better ...... I was always under the impression that London was in England not Scotland?

The designs themselves are cool, but had she replaced the "lilac" with what it should be (red) then it would have been better
