Watching the Jubilee stuff today and hearing Brian May belting out the National Anthem, the Queen looked quite chuffed.
Afterall, having a song all about you is probably quite cool...
What song would you like to be associated with?
Me?

It's gotta be Beethoven 3 for me. The Eroica (Heroic) Symphony. Says it all, really.

Rüdiger on Mark Knopfler's golden heart album http://www.neck-and-neck.com/disco/albums/img/gh_s.jpg
Lyrics:RÜDIGER
Rüdiger stands in the rain and the snow
Collector of autographs
Names upon photographs
Faces of people who everyone knows
Rüdiger lives in a place on his own
Briefcase and spectacles
Strange and respectable
He knows the meaning of being alone
Rüdiger works as a clerk in the town
Music or politics
Rüdiger gets his kicks
He gets information then he comes around
Rüdiger waits at the hall in Berlin
He waits there all night
Security's tight
They know who he is but they don't let him in
Rüdiger waits in the dark by the stair
His fingers are shaking
His feet they are aching
But your name's in the paper so Rüdiger's there

Camper Van Beethoven's 'Take the Skinheads Bowling' is real song and all-time classic, download it yourself if you don't believe me. Taken from their Telephone Free Landslide Victory, it's a US College/indie punk great. The rest of the album is a bit too ska for me though.
Cheers
BTW what's up the animosity when you ask a question.
