In sep 2011 the bbc reported that £5.8million had to be paid to ensure Azerbaijan to ensure they got 2 gold medals in the boxing

An inquiry found this claim as 'without merit'

The boxer from Azerbaijan was knocked down 6 times in the last round and yet the referee didnt count him once

After an appeal the result was reversed and the referee expelled.

There has been plenty of dodgy refereeing decisions in the boxing and a few strange byes. Seems to be a problem in the amateurs as much as the pros.

Thoght the Australian boy who lost to the AZA was hard done by.Not saying he would have won but at 9-9 after thesecond round ,there was no way he could have lost by 4 points. Something stinks.
