Was thinking about going to a big screen in London on Monday. Can anyone recommend any? I was thinking more Westminster than the City.

Thanks

Wow - my first ever thread (will probably bomb!).

It happens to the best of us! :D

Threads started in the middle of the night usually do bomb to be honest.... well that's my excuse anyway.

Ah well, its not really my first if it was begun on the olympic section (no disrespect), but thanks RickyB and thanks Hedgehog for the moral support - I'll be sure to keep bumping it until at least mid-morning tomorrow!

My serious answer to your question is... I don't have a clue!

I would go with RickyB's answer.

Where in Addiscombe are you? I lived on Long Lane (or is that Ashburton?)

Can you get beer in Hyde Park? If not Blackheath looks a good shout

Big screen on the beach. Oh yes.

(Also lots of T-bird actors brought in for the evening showing of Grease. Only in Brighton :D)

Heading up to Victoria Park with a few mates on Sunday to watch the closing ceremony. What time do people reckon we should get there to get in? I was thinking something like 4-5 or is that too late/early?

Would have been nice if they'd put one on in Croydon. This I would certainly have attended. I suppose they don't want Croydon (in Surrey) to exist anymore - they just want us to feel more 'London'. Bit sad, I think.
