The Holmesdale is 26th but this is stands only, not the modern day oval shape grounds. :)

No, that was The Holte @ Villa Park. Even The North Bank at Highbury was bigger.

It's hard to define 'behind the goal stand' though, because in 'Bowl' type stadiums, where does each stand begin and end?

Got ya, I'm sure there was some 'biggest stat' at the time because I remember reading it in the 94/95 year book...I think!
