I'm trying to purchase a red and blue scarf for an Xmas present. Could anyone recommend somewhere online not including the club shop and the more expensive Saville Rogue. Have seen one of Ebay for 6.00 but seems a tad cheap. Thanks.

Appleberry also do Palace football scarves, but like Savile Rogue, they seem pretty expensive - do people really pay 40 for a scarf?

It's ok I preferred the last one though that was more more red and blue knitted together.

Thing about getting stuff from the club shop is its just such a hassle on match days and if you don't live nearby its not somewhere you'd go just to get a scarf. Postage starts at 4.50 for that scarf (37.5% of its value). I really think FirstSport are missing a trick not offering free delivery like other online companies. Even if they just put all the prices up a bit to account for it - people don't feel as ripped off on the postage if they can't see it.

Really disappointed the club have discontinued a classic red and blue bar scarf in the club shop.

I know they need to have a new product every year to keep consumers interested for a new product, but surely a red and blue scarf - plain and simple - should be the staple of a club shop?

I've just bought the Appleberry scarf - after reading this thread. Beautiful red and blue vertical stripes. A bit pricy but what a piece of work. Treat yourself.

Great choice.
I'm tempted to get one, if I can find an opportunity to wear it!

My mum helped me with the complicated bits.

Like the actual knitting of it.

I made the bobble though!

I can see red wool in the blue section, it's not long enough and I can tell that it'll last about 5 mins.

Was she?

She wasn't there at 1.30 when we went past, or at 2.00 when our mate went past.

We wondered if the Brighton Nawties had got to her.

Or if she didn't bother because she normally has red and blue or blue and white scarves!
She was there yesterday...

10 for a hat or 20 for a scarf.

Apparently the price of wool goes up in December...

There was a geezer selling them on Holmesdale Road from about 2pm on Saturday.

I saw him. Why 6 pages of 'chat' about a scarf you can buy outside any part ofthe ground for a fiver ? Red and blue stripes - simples.

There should be some left come Saturday so yeah pop by the storeroom again and I'm sure there'll be someone there from 2.15 onwards to sort it out.
