Bolassie done a "Bruno" on their player, but what a clever flick, Wilf still had a bit to do, and done it very well

Bolasie trick = sublime
Zaha finish = missile

Will wear out available video technology watching and rewatching goal in Vic Eagle humble household, a house possibly too humble to witness such a truly exquisite goal.

Many thanks for posting that been stuck at sainsburys or sleeping all week n had hoped to watch 2 nd half in pub next to work but was just too shatterd. Any chance of clip of delaneys "bad tackle" according to work mates who've seen it. Another mate said it was like one of our old sunday league "challenges " :lux:

I guess it's in the eye of the beholder....

He's 43, I'm 47, and I don't recall a lot of better goals scored at Selhurst, from the impudence of Bolasie's flick to the power of Zaha's finish, for my money you can keep all your goals from distance, Zaha's goal was the perfect illustration of how to open up a defence.

Lovely patronising tone though. With that you are bound to make friends and influence people.

Great skill from Bolasie and a decent slap from Zaha, but there have been far better goals at SP.

Great goal, fantastic pass from YB and unstoppable shot, but not the best goal ever at Selhurst.

Anyone else concerned about Wilf's reactions towards YB. Wilf didn't really thank YB or compliment him on his pass and trickery when interviewed by Sky. Also, after a goal like that you would have thought he would have sought YB out to thank him during his celebrations. I wonder if WZ is not so happy that YB is getting all the praise from the fans. First time I've watched it back and Wilf clearly smiles at YB, points to him, and gives him a high five - just before he gets a hug from Murray.

I thought the celebration said a lot

Wilf looked overjoyed, acknowledged Yannick, and the rest of the team seemed really pleased for Wilf as well

Team spirit looked 100% in that moment

It's up there for me dead ball goals from a distance are great but for me the real skill of beating players, using quick feet and close control, players linking and then an accurate shot is head and shoulders above a dead ball strike.

Wilf's smile really did make it for me

Jimmy Cannons goal will always remain in my memory as the best for the quality of movement, superb passing and finish.

For exquisite skill by Bolasie and finish by Zaha that is another great goal that will stay in my memory and I said "Oh my God" when we scored.

So easy when you have been a Palace fan for donkeys years to think that every thing in the past was better.

It was a fantastic goal and they should be applauded for its quality,It was certainly the "best goal of its type" in the sense that It was created out of nothing by highly skilled PALACE players.

It was a good goal, but it was only a good goal due to bolaise's sublime little flick, most good strikers would have buried it after that . So for me its bolaise that ought to be recognised as performing possibly one of the best assists we have ever seen at selhurst. :p

The goal by Rachid Harkouk, is that the one where he controlled the ball with his Back to goal about 35 yards out, turned and smashed it in on the half volley ?

If so, that was my personal favourite, followed closely by Jim Cannons.

Hinchelwood 40 yarder against Liverpool in the cup past Ray Clemence
Routledge lovely spinning drag back shot shirt salute in Dowie promotion run can remember who it was against but mental match 6 -4 or something
Ian Wright shot lob 30 yarder
but Bolaise skill makes that goal that was stand out world class

Great goal from Wilf last night, but IMHO

Cannon v Ipswich
Wright's lob v Wimbledon

Just two which spring to mind, I also recall Paul Hinshelwood scoring an absolute screamer from the right wing against Liverpool, which was better than Wilf's last night. Bolasie's assist was better, taking nothing away from Wilf, it was a great finish, but not the best I have seen. Aki's goal was also better.

Same for me, on both counts.

Bolasie's skill looked so much better in the flesh than on TV. It was outrageous, then Wilf's finish was excellent as well.

It did remind me a bit of one of Anthony Stokes' goal for us (can't remember who against though)
