There's nothing worse than gloating *******s taking a perverse pleasure in their rivals misfortune in times of crisis. With that firmly in mind, I will not be mentioning my favourite song of the 1980's. You know, the one that goes:

'Never felt more like singing the blues.
When Brighton win
And Palace lose (again)
Oh Brighton, you've got me singing the blues'

Absolutely not, it would only be cruel.

Just on our 'promotion' prospects last season, rather than any wheels falling off, there were no wheels until February. This season is different, as the table suggests. Charlton to stay up, Palace.....50/50.

stop the arse licking it's cringeworthy!

I think Brighton'll go up this year- They've had their dodgy period. Don't think they'll be runaway champions (but then again I don't follow 3rd division football.) In fact i have no idea whos top. As for Charlton I have no idea where they are.(top ten sounds like a good bet judging by some of their posts)

i ignore clowns posts now, because they are so boring and repetitive! So dont bother replying- except the crap referee

When did I predict that ???? I may have said that you'll be in the relegation fight after defeats by Birmingham & Fulham - but that's a FACT - isn't it ?????

I also remember saying that I thought that there were more obvious suspects ???

Just on a point of information, Chesterfield are top, I'm sure you knew really. And they're playing...us, on Saturday, in front of 2,400 ticketed up Seagulls at Saltergate, this crap referee amongst them.

No - just being a country mile ahead of Palace will do for us, thank you very much.

Top Eagle - oh dear, where has last weeks confidence and bravado gone ???

No.2, I dont like losing, full stop. Forgive me if I am not quite as confident after a loss whoever it is against. As a charlton "fan" you may not feel the same way but that is your perogotive.

Have you registered on this site under another name??

Top of the table promotion clash and you muster 2,400. Nice one, I'm impressed.

No.1 Fan of the Mighty Robins, why do you care only about finishing as far as possible ahead of a team that cares so little about you, your team and whether you exist or not???

I'm assuming you're not employing weak sarcasm here. You've already lost the results argument. Let's not get into the 'only 700 to Preston, Palace no fans' debate as your fragile egos could not cope just now. By any standards, 2,400 to Chesterfield from Brighton is good. In the 3rd Div it is a top performance, and almost as many as you managed to take all the way to .....Fulham, against the top dogs. Sit down, shut up.

Kelvin. I'll be passing the Withdean in the next few days, I'll drop a couple of sandbags off for the open graves appearing in the centre circle.

Symbolic really isn't it ?

Brighton - palace....

one step closer !

Top Eagle

Brighton - Palace one step closer?? Maybe.

Time to gloat?? Brighton would have got stuffed last night by Fulham. Charlton, would also have found it difficult, they have a £22m squad, I think that is slightly larger than the mighty Charltons.

There is no shame in last nights result.

I agree, I would not choose palace to be where we are, and there is basically no reply at the moment from my side.

I think by tuesday next week we will see what is going to happen to us, I dont think anyone expected us to win last night (hoped maybe) so last nights result just means we have one less game to get things right. Still not happy though.

Perhaps you lot should change your name to CRYSTAL BALLS !!!!!!

After all that all you guys seem to be able to do to muster a half decent response !!!!!
Only your Crystal Balls don't ever seem to work.

Can't get much more decent than predicting your demise by the end of the season surely !

I think you'll find that the relegation issues are decided in May.

I assure you you'll have no need to worry about Palace, they'll be at worst mid-table, however I don't think Charlton will be as highly placed as they are at the moment (I'd quote where they are, but I can't be bothered enough about them to check), and as for Brighton weren't they headed for promotion last year until the wheels came off.

I didn't use the word "only" - you did.
I just said that I don't see Charlton aiming for Europe, but keeping way ahead of Palace will do for me.
See my response to Mat ov, in the "Why bother" thread.

I am not at all worried if the feeling isn't mutual, but for me, Charlton keeping ahead of the Palace makes life a lot more enjoyable. I don't care for you fieldy, I don't know you personally, but I have plenty of Palace mates and when it comes to banter down the pub, believe me it does matter. All down the years, I have had to put up with a torrent of abuse from Palace fans, because I have supported "little plucky old Charlton" , now that the tables have turned, I am going to enjoy every minute of it.

Well IF you go up and (even bigger) IF we go down .... I'm already looking forward to playing you scum !!!

If I had the wings of an Eagle
and I had the Arse of a Crow
I'd fly of Brighton tomorrow
and **** and the ******s below

Now that is a much better rendition of an 80's song.
Still you were probably too into Wham to go to footie eh?

2,400 going to Chesterfield would be impressive for any team, only thing is old Kelvin forgot to mention that actually, that's our ticket allocation. There is no more, we couldn't have taken anymore if we'd wanted to! So get stuffed Palace. Have we clarified how many went to Fulham yet? As for you Scoot, shouldn't it be "Arse of a Cow?" I mean being pickity, I doubt whether a Crow, big as they are, could **** more than an eagle, whereas a Cow could. Although, saying that I've seen many eagles ****ting themselves immensely over the years.....

Get stuffed .... oooo big words from a small boy eh? When have you ever seen an Eagle **** himself? Funny I seem to remember a whole load of Seagull **** seeping out of your special at Norwood one time !!!

BTW I always thought it was crow because it rhymed better than Cow, still never mind you sad South Coast scummer here's a better one!

Hark now here the PALACE sing
The Brighton RUN AWAY
and we will fight forever more
because of Boxing Day.
