Apathetic Fans

When are fans going to give Alan Smith the stick he deserves? It seems over recent years we have put up with so much crap without a "major" response from supporters. Goldberg, Venables, etc. If this farce had happened at any other clubs (Man City to name one), there would be mass demonstrations, abuse, pitch invasions, etc.
All we managed to achieve was one geezer with a match day programme. Very intimidating
Until we register are disgust, this turmoil will continue. Losing to Grimsby was the last straw. Come on Palace, lets stand up for ourselves for once and stop this before we get relegated! We deserve better.

I bet Sheff Weds are looking forward to their first away win!

No I disagree. The fact is that we must give Smith time,that's not to say that he's got forever but I think the problems at the club are not only of his making, the players lack of disapline is an example of this. I know that many were sad to see Coppell go but no one can blame Smithy for that. Maidstone you mentioned Man City, surely they prove my point. This is a club who went through many managers and it wasn't until they gave a certain Joe Royle a chance that things got back to where they wanted. Things didn't come together straight away for Royle or even for that matter for Steve Coppell in his first few seasons in the 80's at Palace. But both Man City and Palace persisted with these two men and it clearly paid off in both cases.
