Fantastic work! Congratulations to all involved.

SB - you were as good as your word on the "No new signings" thread, when you said "hopefully everyone will be pleased by the end of the week." Brilliant stuff.

Question - how about marketing CPFC-brand tranquilizers for supporters on days such as these?

Touch wood, but it looks like all targets have been acquired. Top work by Steve, Iain, Tony and Phil.

not being a suck up etc at all, that went way above expectations so credit where it is due, even from some of the more negative people one here - whatever happens, you guys did your best!

Do you sit at home waiting for someone to tell you the news on signings or have you been at the club today ?

Can anyone shed any light on the situation of Ince during the summer?

Is he off to Monaco or do we have a chance of signing him once his loan finishes? Cause I'm thinking providing we stay up and he's quality, he'd be settled in at South London and may want to sign.

Palace fans could not have asked for more. A wonderful job by THE BOARD, Moody and Pulis in getting these players in.

Thank you!

Fabulous result for the club and the fans. But I just wonder why this went down to the wire. Did Palace delay making its moves until the last minute so that it wouldn't get gazumped by other clubs, as happened in the last transfer window?

(Not a question) but still, no one else is asking one, so I wanted to extend thanks and congratulations as well.

Particularly with the Ince signing. I wouldn't have been at all surprised if he'd gone to a top 6 side, so massive Kudos there. Not quite as good as Zaha (who is?) but is a real game changer, and I hope, could make that difference in games and our season.

Progress!

CPFC2010 - having been through it a few times at the coal face, what's your take on the madness that is the window? Good thing, bad? Get rid?

Well done to all of you, not knocking our previous manager but TP seems so level headed, pragmatic and professional and he seems to know exactly what he wants. Exactly the sort of manager i would like to work for. This really feels like the beginning of something special.

Nice piece of work by all concerned.

Was there anyone we missed out on that we didn't hear about or did you get all your targets that passed their medicals??

Yep, Lots of humble pie being eaten at the close of the window

We as supporters have basically no control over it so put trust in the ones who do is the way I see it

Great stuff by all involved and we now have a serious chance of not only staying up but pushing on a bit

Very happy with signings but this thread should be done at the end of the season when we know whether or not the buys have done the trick.

Question

Always wondered what "agreeing personal terms" means..apart from salary...what else is there ?

Thanks for all the kind words. As I have said all along transfers are very much down to Steve Parish, with help from Iain Moody, Phil Alexander and others...not forgetting Tony of course.

Judge the window with 4 months hindsight when any number of unforseeable things could happen to 1 or more of the players?

Now is the time to judge it, could we have imagined doing any better? Do we think teh players will do well? Are they the players we need etc etc.

Judging the window in May is like judging a refereeing decision after 24 slow mo replays from 14 different angles all unavailable to the referee!

Steve - What is the view from inside Palace on the January window? I was saying all month that the business would all be done on 31st, (and was so confident i even went away till the 30th! ;) and teh window is no different each year in that regard.

Do you think we would be better having a 7 day window in January for example, get it all out of teh way quicker so clubs could focus on playing football? Or do we actually need a window for a month?

I think that everyone is happy with the window but the first 28 days are a bit of a "phoney war" until the real action happens.
