Steve,

I am sure that you're aware of the potential for this league to be added in the near future, but currently we don't have the Cat 1 status in the EPPP. A write up on the Sky Sports pages suggests that other clubs who wish to join (naming CPFC), could upgrade and enter the league also.

Is this the plan, and if so, when are we hoping to acheive Cat 1?

We already have some of the most exciting youth in the country, but can see this as another link in the chain to improving the 1st team for years to come and generate some more income from the 'B' team games played while the 1st team play away games etc.

Can you enlighten us in any way?

Gary Issott is very much in charge of this and is currently working on us acquiring more pitches and facilities. Once this is in place, we'll consider going for Cat 1 status.
