Amazed to find no thread on this already....

I used to follow racing a lot, much less so now, but retained enough to get the winner last year at 100/1.

Have a short list of 5 at the moment, not backed all yet.

In betting order:

Long Run,
Burton Port,
The Package,
Quito de la Roque,
Shakalakaboomboom - ridden by D Bass (Now say that in Jamaican!)


Rain could yet ruin chances for a couple of those

Hate the Grand National, its cruel and should be banned along with the boat race for scaring all them little fishes every time the oars enter the water :angel:

Backed Long Run though still have reservations bout the jockey,
also on The Package,but main bet is Triolo D'alene.

backed three or four outsiders at big prices on betfair a few weeks ago. Last Time D'albain and Alvorado both at over 100-1.

i did balthazar to win at 33/1 earlier in the week. no e/w

ran differently to how i thought though, a very good ride from johnson.
