I was reading on one of the threads about the possible(probable)installation of under soil heating when we stay up.
Would it be possible that supporters could purchase a little piece of the hallowed turf, perhaps if a worthwhile idea any monies could go to the academy.
What do you,or would it be too difficult to organise??

Great idea, as a kid I would have loved to have turned up at Selhurst with a spade and grab a bit of turf.

would say you'd have to charge a nominal fee to stop people taking loads to sell on ebay. Make it for charity, everyones a winner.

When my father in law (a life long Palace supporter) died several years back, his niece's husband, who was actually, a Millwall supporter, acquired from Palace two small pieces of turf from the pitch. There's now one corner of a Dorset churchyard that is forever Selhurst. (With apologies to Rupert Brooke) :)
