I know we have the LOL thread but its worth listing a few here

Here's the first

some one has gifted them 200m which they are in no way repaying. They are losing 12m pa. And they think they are a big club :D:D:D:D

You just couldn't make it up !!

(and the icing on the cake is that they look down their noses at clubs like Ipswich or Huddersfield who haven't been given 200m)

So I sent back a picture of me with the Crystals.

The fact that so many of the Tarquins seem to think that since they are going to be the only ones complying with FPP (a big if btw !) it's somehow going to give them a big advantage !! If they'd looked at their accounts closely they'd notice that the Amex is a millstone round their necks rather than some big advantage. And that excludes their cheating by ignoring the interest charge. :D

Of their 12 consecutive league defeats, this is the one that will really hurt Brighton & Hove Albion. Crystal Palace hammered them from the very start, with Andy Johnson scoring a hat-trick and Dougie Freedman and Julian Gray chipping in to secure a first win for them after five draws.

Cast adrift at the bottom of Division One, Brighton have now been humiliated by the club they love to hate.

Mitch and I flew back for that game, so did Chocky. After the game, walking back towards Goat hse bridge I spotted a few weeds. I started laughing, they wanted some. Mitch told them to feck off, I would bite their faces off. They went away. Then a mate from years ago pulls up in his car,'I knew you would be here Mick'. We then saved his car from crashing. He had jumped out, without pulling the handbrack. Lol.

Just read the threads on here.:p
We told them from the beginning of football in Brighton (August 2011) that they were getting ahead of themselves , but they knew best. Perhaps the best quote was one of their signatures when the ground was opened.

For the Albion there is a bright new dawn on the horizon. For Palace there are only sunsets.

What happened in clapham ?.

A truly fearsome mob, combining the naughtiest elements of the notorious WSF and the much feared HHs, made their way in their thousands up from the south coast to slaughter the Palace on their own patch. They've been waiting for this opportunity for years after sporadic incidents at Selhurst when they played Wimbledon and at Victoria train station due to a chance encounter. They disembarked at Clapham Junction, made plenty of noise and got themselves nicely wrapped up by Old Bill in the Falcon pub. They shrieked 'because of boxing day' into their Fosters tops, flexed their guns in their snide Stone Island cardies, and arrived under escort just in time for kick off.

Their biggest results of the day were pulling faces, a rum cove mooning on the platform of Clapham Junction, and trampling some flowers outside a florists in Thornton Heath.

They then lost 5-0.

Just a thought but has it occurred to you that the JCL as you call them are mainly from the same Albion families that turned up to watch say Albion in a 34000 crowd against Rochdale at home in the third division. However serial decline since dropping out of div 1, a dreadful side for 30 odd years, football's decline in the 1980's and then constant lower league football duing footballs subsequent rise, culminating in losing the Goldstone and then Gillingham / Withdean, might have affected things before Falmer. Albion are just back on theior feet that's all, but have not even started the journey to its potential as we still play (badly this season) lower league football. Just a thought for you. As ever, Brighton will be one of the best supported teams for the division they play in and so the Argus said, the 15th best supported in the country. Would be handy if we had the 15th best team the country to match wouldn't it.

That they lost at home to "tinpot" Bournemouth, who obviously didn't realise they shouldn't even be on the same pitch as the mighty weed, what with their inferior attendances and ground which is not new, shiny or wonky, and holds fewer than the andrex, and doesn't have padded seats or piped crowd noise.

And the fact that Bournemouth are now top of the Championship while Brighton hover perilously above the drop zone, only kept above the trapdoor by the abject shiteness of the bottom three, but not yet safe and with a manager who is no stranger to relegation.

And that the two clubs the weed would least want to gain promotion at their expense are us and Bournemouth, for the fact that we have smaller and older grounds than them, and have gained success with hard work and team unity rather than a swishy stadium built by a billionaire sugardaddy and the broken promise of immediate elevation to the elite of English football.

And their sense of entitlement that their new ground would bring them instantly to the top table of world football and on a par with the Barcelonas and Bayern Munichs, and that this dream was demolished by us, on their own hallowed turf, and that they continue to struggle in the lower depths of the second division while we ensure a third straight season in the PL bringing us riches beyond our wildest dreams and a chance to become an established Prem club.

That we've just won 3 PL games on the trot while they've lost at home to Norwich, away at Rotherham and at back at home to Bournemouth.

Just off the top of my head, these are a few of the reasons I can think of that Brighton are so hilarious.

The whole point of disclosing attendances is to compare clubs on a like for like basis. All clubs disclose ticket sales. Only at Brighton are there a few who want Brighton to shoot themselves in the foot by not doing what every other club does. Bottom line is that Brighton shifted 25000 tickets for a Friday night TV game when scrapping around the lower reaches of the second tier and shift more seats than the likes of West Brom in the Premier League. If only we had a side worthy of that support.

Its a must for anyone visiting the village of Falmer.

Yep! You can just hear the words of the tour guide:

"And here we have a monstrous blue blot on the Green Belt landscape. Built from the proceeds from the international gaming circuit, it stands as the symbol of one man's folly, and every day it continues to fuel the delusions of 100,000 fans. If you are fortunate enough to be able to obtain a match-day ticket (not easy, as every match is virtually sold out), be sure to sample the pies on offer - they are truly excellent.

"Note the discarded clackers and 'Wembley 2013' scarves and hats that add to the ambience. If you look closely enough, you may also find coach tickets and hotel booking receipts for 27th May 2013, another date etched indelibly in the minds of those 100,000 faithful, a symbol of broken dreams and things that might have been.

"We will also soon have a brand-new hotel on site to add to the attraction, ready for the visit of Champions' League opponents in the near future. The future is indeed bright for this Premiership-ready club"
