The only time the Amex is ever rocking is when the away fans create an atmosphere. And you're playing Arsenal.

Still, their away fans are better than your home, but that's really not saying much.

Let me get this straight.

You come on this website when you win a few games and when Palace lose a few games. OK, whilst this pretty sad, I get it.

Now you coming on this website because you’ve drawn a large club in the FA Cup? I mean, seriously, WTF? Do you think you’ve “got one over the Palace” now or something?

I think Millwall and/or Cambridge both have “one over you” if that’s how we are measuring things.

After this game they won't want promotion, knowing the class of the Premier League compared with their shit squad. Arsenal will beat them 3-0 whilst resting 4 or 5 of the first team.

I think this actually now shows the great divide between our two clubs now. I'll be honest I would've hated playing Arsenal again, flogging expensive tickets to us in a stadium full of tourists at the Emirates comes to mind. But the whole "oh my god" thing is what makes it for me, the only way you guys can play a top side is literally by the luck of the draw, while we play them all year round.

One more point, how's the general sale for Brentford tickets going? Sold out stadium every game my arse. :moo:

Why would i do that? We are expecting to get beat by one of the best teams in England. As long as we don't embarrass ourselves i will enjoy the day.

It's a mixture of people who used to go a few games a season going a lot more, some fairweather/new fans like every club gets as it becomes more successful, and more away fans.

You've had all of that too of course, but what's really swelled your ranks are the reams of plastics who infest the Amex, all of whom support Prem clubs first and foremost. It's a big reason why your atmosphere is so shit.

Will be nearer double that amount of Arsenal fans in the ground. All your JCLs that can't be bothered to turn up this season will be selling their tickets off. Enjoy getting thrashed.

Not this again, i really don't want to keep bringing up your NEW 10,000 fans again but i will if you force my hand. Think before you post is my advice.

Back on topic.

I reckon a record attendance for the Amex will be broken.

I thought Br*ghton were so massive that every game was a sell out, and there was a season ticket waiting list? So what is so special about the attendance for this forthcoming cup game?

And even if it does break the ground attendance record, won't it be a little hollow, as it needs over 4000 away fans in the ground to break the record?

Simple really. We should be in the Premier league where proper teams bring proper away support. Still when clubs like Wigan bring a 100 fans and we still beat your attendances when you play Man Utd then there's something seriously wrong :clown:

About 22,000 short of our stadium's record attendance. Still, that's history and tradition for ya.

Couple of seasons of JCL attendances and you guys think you are a big deal. Joke club.

Here is a couple of FACTS for you-
Since 1921-
Seasons Brighton have had bigger average attendances than Palace - 19
Seasons Palace have had bigger average attendances than Brighton - 67

Run along you prat.

Agree on many levels. Why would people pay to see substandard football, and not even bother to take their padded seat at a £200m stadium?

You really needhelp boy, yourposts are getting more and more ridiculous everyday. Try getting a team that is good enough to get in the premier league before saying ' we should be in the premier' ffs you do make yourself look a twat.

Are you for real?

In the last year, Palace have beated the likes of Chelsea, Liverpool and Spurs, and are currently 15th in the Premier League. We have players bought from Liverpool and Arsenal in our squad.

Br*ghton are below the likes of Huddersfield and Charlton in the table, £100m+ in debt, and so you think that superior attendances are a stick to beat us with.

Most Palace home games are sold out bar restricted view seats.

I don't get the phrase 'we should be in the Premier League...". Based on what exactly? Stadium capacity and attendances? If that was the only criteria, so would Leeds and Sheffield United, but they also both aren't because like Brighton they are shit.

Newcastle have the 3rd biggest ground in the League, but haven't won any trophy of note since 1969. I'm sure Chelsea and Liverpool fans with their inferior attendances don't worry too much when they count their League titles and European Cups.

Quite frankly, to cite attendances as a marker of success is a red herring. Everyone knows Br*ghton are a tin pot club located at the end of a Park and Ride scheme, supported in the majority by JCL's.

Give us something to be envious of, and we might care a little more. As it stands that club is still just a bit of a joke.

Londoner, your skills what statistical research are clearly something special.

Why don't you go off to produce a comparison between your average declared attendance and the number of bums on seats at each minute between 80 and 95?

I'm sure it would be enlightening.

You do know we hold the record for the highest attendance in the 4th division in this country don't you? And up until Rangers did their thing the world record for attendance in any 4th league?

The only record 'The Albion' will be able to boast about is the record number of half and half scarves sold before one game, after your cup final (well after your other cup final a couple of years back)

I would place a bet on the ground clearing out at Half time but I'll save my money. We know full well everyone will stay to cheer on the likes on Sanchez and Walcott.

The sad thing is it will probably be a sell out but the next league game, they'll be back to having an empty stadium.

So let me get this straight then. These so called fans go missing when you are shit but return for the good times? :D

You expect me to believe that nonsense? Go away and come up with something a bit more plausible.

Of course you knob! If you are playing a better opposition in a better league some supporters who wouldn't go if we were playing smaller clubs with inferior players like Brighton and Charlton. Just like demand for tickets for say England would be in more demand if they are playing Brazil rather than Luxembourg. You know as well as everyone else that you haven't suddenly got 25000-30000 who happen to support the seaweed. You never had that sort of regular support. Get your head out of your arse and smell the roses :hi:

And the cheers and applause when they announce the away attendance(although this will probably be 30% of the actual arse fans in the ground)
