After the draw for the Capital One cup, did anybody else notice the sky commentators get all excited about the local derby games.

Arsenal v tottenham
Aston Villa v Birmingham

and they said a sum total of NOTHING about the South East London derby. Now either they don't know where Charlton is , or they, rightly cannot take this bunch of Clowns seriously.

did you notice this back at the time ? it certainly gave me a chuckle.

Fowler's late winner was a crushing blow, but we've got every chance in the second leg at Selhurst.

0-0 isn't a bad result but with Murray looking like he won't play the second leg, and the fact they beat us 3-0 only a couple of months ago, I just can't see us winning at the Amex :(

With Liverpool having put 11 goals past us this season with no reply; it is madness to imagine we will get anything but a drubbing at Villa Park…..

Blimey! - is all I can say to that. The train back was so eerily silent and I bumped into so many old faces afterwards. The only one that gave us a chance was big Mal.

Wowzers

Can't wait until we move to Selhurst Park, The Nest is simply not fit for purpose.

It's about time we got a proper kit, something like Aston Villa's would be nice.

By starting a thread mentioning the report aren't you alluding to the fact that there may be some rivalry? Historic or otherwise.

Jimmy Savile is a national hero. Some people keep harping on about him fingering a Nolan. Give it a rest.
