To reach 38 points Norwich, Newcastle and Sunderland probably need to win 40% of their remaining games and so far they have won just 22% of their first 27 games.

This brings the chances of catching Palace who already have 32 points into perspective as Palace have a goal difference advantage over them which is worth an extra point.

The run-in for the bottom five was debated on TalkSport last night with Mark Saggers and Stan Collymore and this is how they see it.

Saggers: Villa, Gone. Swansea-34pts. Norwich-35pts. Newcastle-36pts. Sunderland-37pts.

Collymore: Villa, Gone. Norwich-31pts. Sunderland-35pts. Newcastle-35pts. Swansea-38pts.

Don't be ridiculous. I could easily see us getting a draw with Norwich. So we'd be down with 33 points.

Bournemouth in my eyes have by far the toughest run in. A point tonight would be a good result, a win would be bloody amazing!
