Could well be a case of Portugal having a lot of possession again but being frustrated.

Well said. In this country especially we have a habit of knocking anyone that is very good at something. I can understand why people think he is a twat etc etc but to doubt him as a football player is comical. A lot of the play comes from him but not just because players try to find him but because he is bloody everywhere. He is not human when corners are crossed in, he seems to get to the ball no matter what.

Worth re-posting, I think - a quote from after the Iceland game...

Arnason added: “It makes it even sweeter when he’s a sore loser like that. He can say whatever he wants. He didn’t really get a chance. He got one and he couldn’t put it away. What can I say? Sore loser. Tough shit. What does he expect - for us to play like Barcelona against him? He fannies about and dives around.”

He's an ex-Man U ungracious arrogant slimy diving c*nt. He runs around the pitch wagging his finger and showing imaginary cards trying to cheat and get people sent off, then whines like a spoilt brat of a kid when it doesn't all go his way. Such a shame for such a massive talent. If only he would take a leaf out of Messi's book.

looks like he's paid his taxes, end up in court on tax evasion charges is one thing I hope he doesn't take out of his "book"

People seem to love Messi and for some reason seem to think he's some kind of angel. Bet he is even dodger than this to business proves.

I've seen Messi have many off days with no bad press at all. It's all very strange.

Austria's keeper was my Man of the Match - some great saves to keep them in it.

Ronaldo is just about bearable when he plays for Real because he gets his way most of the time and people just go "wow" at the tekkers and goals. When he plays for Portugal however, it's an entirely different creature.
