I see CPFC arn't using kings ferry coach company any more :jerkit:

Gonna be using Clarks next season starting with Colchester away for a fiver :D

Heard the last straw was it took 3 hrs to get back from wembley cup final coaches went up to Watford via country lanes then M25 :D

Clarks are meant to be a lot better, drivers are in contact with traffic news and divert as soon as they know

Will do borough away and see

Getting shot of kings ferry is one of our best transfers this season :D
Surprised it isn't on Sky ticker :jerkit:

Any replacement is an upgrade bad enough on a coach but they were grim :hi:

Usual excuses will be made for KF, drivers are from different areas so they don't know where football stadiums are blah blah blah

Funnily enough I was passing The Den yesterday, and what did I see - a fleet of Kings Ferry Coaches outside. Looks like they have already forgotten about us

Clarkes of London were originally Clarkes of Penge till they bettered themselves.

Thats because its Ferrys lay over point for commuter coaches after going to London and waiting for their pick ups back home. Done it for years. But don't let facts get i the way of course. :)

Should be no excuses for coaches not being at Selhurst on time as Clarke's depot is less than 4 miles from Selhurst Park

as far as i know theyve been doing that for ages!!! they are used to "ship in fans" from areas where it is to far for them to work out how to use public transpor to get to the game!!!

Its only a trial for Colchester the decision hasn't been made on the coaches yet I actually hope they still continue to use Kings Ferry.

You're kidding right?

No I am not the director of Kings Ferry and no I am not kidding on either point, I have used the away travel coaches on a regular basis for years and apart from the odd issue last season I have no problem with Kings Ferry.

I contacted the club yesterday,no final decision has been made on coach travel for this season.Clarkes are going to Colchester and the club would like feedback from those that are going by coach.I have suggested the Middlesbrough and Sunderland trips might be a better way to judge them rather than a short trip to Colchester

Club used Clarkes coaches for Colchester friendly. Will they be using them or kings ferry for league/cup games?

Penstone Eagle

No idea, but if Clarkes coaches managed to get to Colchester on time and without going via Brentford, then I'd suggest they may stick with them. Not sure of their fleet size though.

Fifty plus coaches, so as you say if they didn't "balls up" they should have the gig full time.

Have there been any sightings of the Lesser Spotted Away Coaches to Middlesbrough yet?

I realise it is still many weeks away (three?) but it would be nice to have some details re: -departure and prices.

So far I have not managed to garner enough lottery winnings to afford a train ticket to Boro, which seem to start at 80 return.

I'm sure our new box office boss is on the piss case.

Yes, I guess there are more pressing issues, like chasing flies out of the new electonic card readers or cancelling U21 matches.

All part of the mystery of following Palace. I have a feeling this could be one of the most mysterious seasons ever!

Coach travel details are normally released when the match tickets go on sale. I realise that doesn't really answer your question :) but it'll probably be later this week or first thing next week.

The coaches to Spurs are going via Middlesbrough, apparently...
