Got mine for 48 yesterday, originally 68 but had a 30% off code. It was Together124 but think you need a specific link from an email

5 of us flying to Edinburgh on the Friday morning. Spend the day / night there.

Train to Newcastle in the morning is about 10. Dump bags in hotel and have a few before getting the train to Sunderland.

Match then back into Newcastle.

First class train home on the Sunday is 50.

Looking forward to it.

You go down the box office, pay your money but they don't have the actual tickets.

Then they post it to after you've already left for the game.

:D

what a total fiasco it is in there now, "we cant hand you the tickets over, we will post them instead, or you can phone on the premium rate number and we will still post them". great call Teflon :hmph:

I've just tried logging in to purchase a Sunderland ticket but 'Quick Seats' is greyed out. I have no membership but a long held client reference number. Anyone else been able to purchase online without membership as the link suggests is possible?

The site is still only allowing 2 per member for all three games so either they haven't implemented the change or it hasn't worked.

Nope. Only members can buy tickets.

It's one thing having to buy membership when you only expect to be able to get to 1/2 games a year, but another to be pleasantly surprised by an announcement on the Palace website that seemingly saves you 30 only for it to not be true!

There hasn't been any official statement about that but I think it's fairly safe to assume that you'll be able to pay on the day.

Yeah, I went last season and it was fairly empty. Obviously we'll bring a lot more being a Saturday. Even the season before it wasn't full though.

Grand Central off peak return (08:11 out, 17:29 return) 102.40
Grand Central Advance First (08:11 out, 17:29 return) 144.60
Virgin East Coast off peak return any permitted 130.30
East Midlands/CrossCountry Advance via Sheffield 103.20
Chiltern/CrossCountry via Birmingham 108
British Airways return 222
National Express return 47
Club Coach return 27

I can't find any more options for day return travel.

I'd say for ease it's between the club coach, or Grand Central. If you book online, you can reserve a specific seat on a train if you tick "reserve a seat" before you pay.

Cheers. They'd probably bring the tickets with them on the coach.

Think i'd rather take my chances on the day ;)

I am not a betting man but am 99.999% certain you will be able to pay on the day.
The only time I can remember not being able to pay on the day at the SOL was the play off semi final..

Hoping for enough empty seats to allow me and my 5 year old daughter to sit together - booked my ticket last week and she was adamant that she didn't want to come - only to change her mind yesterday when her membership pack arrived - so had to book her ticket seperately!

You should be ok - usually spare seats at the end nearest the corner flag.

Thats' what happens when I try to post from my phone. Line closed
between Selhurst and Balham all weekend for engineering works. So its replacement buses. Not that their info is particularly clear...

Engineering work is taking place between Balham and Selhurst closing the line. Read more about engineering work and why it is necessary.

Until approximately 05:30 , buses replace trains on the following route:

London Victoria and London Bridge / Clapham Junction
Clapham Junction and East Croydon

From approximately 05:30 Saturday and all day Sunday, buses replace trains between Balham and East Croydon / West Croydon and between London Victoria and Clapham Junction.

Trains between London Bridge and London Victoria / west Croydon will not run

Most trains from / to London Victoria are diverted to start / terminate at London Bridge.

Trains between London Victoria and Sutton / East Grinstead will run to an amended timetable.

Trains between London Bridge and Tonbridge and will run between Redhill and Tonbridge.

Gatwick Express trains will not run. passengers should use alternative services between London Victoria and Gatwick Airport.

Anyone know the best place to park near the ground?

transformerman
23-09-2016, 12:37 PM
Stadium of Light Metro car park - think it was about 4.00 last time .
There is not much available street parking and its a tow away zone on matchdays.
There are also a couple of park & Rides reasonably well sign posted on approach .

For all Palace fans going today, Central Metro station is closed. Walk opposite the station up to Monument.
