Looking at 54 return trains for this

I got tickets from a fare split website to Manchester Piccadilly from London for 44 last night, and return from Manchester Victoria to the ground looking like 5.40

https://raileasy.trainsplit.com/main.aspx

Not sure where you would be travelling from though.

As far as I know it will be on the 7th 3pm but it could be different on police advice e.g. teams unable to play at home on the same day.

I'm not going to sort out travel tonight just in case. Hopefully it can be confirmed by tomorrow lunchtime.

GMP will need no more than a van and 2 coppers for this one. So not sure policing will be an issue.

My only thought was if Bolton can't play at home at the same time as someone else. I expect it's very unlikely but I don't like taking the risk.

As their stadium is in the middle of nowhere can't see it being moved for policing

RobertCPFC
18-12-2016, 02:39 PM
I don't know who does come up with this. I can only assume it was decided by someone who doesn't attend away games. In the third round last year they didn't even use points so it makes it even more ridiculous. We are not going to sell out so just let everyone get as many tickets as they want.

Oli28
18-12-2016, 03:17 PM
Does it matter? For this game, everyone will be able to get as many tickets as they want, it's just a case of waiting a few more days. From what I've seen they're doing the same points system for every game, which is consistent at least.

Dorking .Eagle
20-12-2016, 11:20 AM
They only went on sale at 10am, it just indicates more tickets need to be loaded onto the system. Probably had a bit of a rush because all the away regulars would have been logging on to buy their West Ham tickets this morning, and it's best to order as soon as possible what with the Christmas post.

More will no doubt be loaded up shortly

Well if we haven't won at least 2 of the next 3 I think we should put out a first team (barring anyone genuinely carrying a knock) - the team needs to build confidence and a winning habit.

No - you'll be fine! I see it says 2 tickets per client reference number when they go on general sale on 27 December, but you don't need to be a member to get a client reference number.

Worst comes to the worst I know a few season ticket holders not going so would be happy to help you out if necessary.
