View Full Version : What song are you singing right now?

I have an annoying habit of singing away to myself all day long. People think I'm always happy because I'm always singing, but I sing whatever my mood and don't always realise I'm doing it.
Bowie's Golden Years is my tune of the morning so far. What song is playing in your head at the moment?
...don't let me hear you say life's taking you nowhere, angel

For two days now, the S/Dan song 'Only a fool would say that' has been repeating in my brain.......A boy with a plan, a natural man, wearing a white stetson hat...... :p
And now strangely, I've got Fats Waller's 'I cant give you anything but love......bebe' coursing through my head and mouth. A few strange looks from the younger musically correct 'taste' enforcers in the office, but hey, I dont give a t@ss....:D

Yeah, this was in my head a lot a week or so ago - tends to depend on old favourites coming up unexpectedly on the wireless.
Like when Bob Harris played My Old School by Steely Dan on last Saturday's programme: couldn't budge that for DAYS - and it was on repeat play: nothing else got a look in.

Don't get me started! When I first heard The Avalanches I went mental and took the CD on a boy's holiday with me to play in the apartment. To say that my sanity was questioned by the others is an understatement. I then saw them in Brighton and made a dancing fool of myself.

So the question for you Spanish types is what are the lyrics for the rest of the song, and what does it all mean? I managed to discover that una cochita is a rectangle.
