Renewed our three yesterday. Everyone who sits around us is also renewing :lux::lux:

In a way I'm kind of hoping it's the Championship next season - 4 more games, cheaper price per game, more chance of seeing us win/score, less traffic, more room at the bar, some decent teams to play. I have no particular interest in watching the opposition's players so the quality of the football is irrelevant to me.

I can only remember that in 1973 a Junior Season ticket cost less than 10

I think it was extremely unusual for people to buy season tickets back then. Credit was much harder to come by - I don't remember knowing anyone with a season ticket until the 1990s.
Do you know anybody who's been a season ticket holder for longer than you have?

Did I read somewhere that the new season will just get loaded on to the current card and they won't be sending out new ones.

If so a couple of points:- so we are now stuck with orange and blue wallets. No thread on when's my season ticket going to arrive and Baldy won't be the last person to get it.

If the above is true, that's a shame as I like my collection of ST's.

It would be a bit nave to call it disappointing, I suppose, but when you consider the money that is slopping about in the Premier League and the amount that is spent on players' wages and transfers etc, it is a bit harsh to charge hard working and loyal fans for a credit card transaction for a season ticket that is effectively paying up for seats at games15 months ahead.

I really don't understand these charges. The sums involved mean little in the overall budget and the loss of goodwill is surely worth more? On a separate note why can't the Direct Debit payers have the early prices? it is not as if cash flow is a problem.

Out of interest why should the points be added before the new season ?

Away games are still be phased at normal points levels so it stays fair for all does it not?

On a side note, I'm assuming phased points levels will be raised next season as there must be a lot of fans heading to 4000+ or are they going to start a points cut off to keep the points levels lower...

I renewed early this time, got the discount, but will I get the full amount of loyalty points (500) or will I get the points at the discounted price (460)?

Full amount, 500 points for everyone regardless of price or renewal date.

Renewing on Saturday, as I think I can only renew with instalments at the box office?

Wasnt the most straightforward process (this is palace - didnt expect it to be) but it did go through fine in the end.

I renewed online and at no stage have I been informed to keep my current card

Hopefully people will be as I can see many chucking it at the end of the season

It is in the brochure. It is part of the new "auto-renew" facility so they don't have to send out new cards every year for those people who take up that option.

The cards are the same technology as Oyster cards, so as long as you take care of them, they should last years.

I did mine online with instalments and it was really easy. Log In, Select "Season Ticket & Bundle", select 2017/18, select renew, choose instalments, enter bank details, confirm, done.

Tried it on a laptop, tablet and the latest office PC to no avail, with IE, Chrome, Firefox and Opera (whatever that is!). Will be queuing before the Watfrod game instead - they better not expect me to fill in a form!

Renewed my two in the lower Holmesdale. Meant to put them on my credit card but used my bank card. Kids might go hungry this month.

Quite annoying you can't go back and renew for friends and family if you've already renewed your own.
