We really should be selling this out regardless of it being midweek, given how important it is.

It's the easiest game for most to get to outside of London, crucial game where we might actually get another away point before the end of the season, cheaper tickets.

And we can cheer on Alan Pardew's boys...

https://southamptonfc.com/matches/2016-17/saints-v-crystal-palace-2017-04-05/ticket-information

Its a shit place to walk from because of the railway line. Print yourself off a map on streetmap to see what I mean - either go top end or bottom end of St Marys but it turns into a bottleneck whichever way you try.

They always make you turn right when you come out of the away end and past where the away coaches are parked. Rather than left and over the railway footbridge. This adds a bit of time to the walk.

Starting to look like we will sell out block 44 (circa 2600). They have definitely sold from the front back and they are currently selling Row JJ, the stand only goes to NN; I would estimate less than 80 tickets left, then the club may have the option of the last block. Doubt they will risk it but have a feeling we could sell quite a few more between now and next Wednesday. Looking forward to this more than Chelsea.

Away fans have option of block 43, we clearly have decided not to take up that option so have taken 44-48, which equates to circa 2650. The entire away end, if we had taken block 43, holds 3300.
Still 2650 is a pretty good turn out and in some ways it is up to the fans to buy tickets quicker, if we had sold out the blocks 44-48 in the first week the club may have had the option of taking the last block.

The risk at 20 a ticket is not that great and if they put the extra tickets on general sale , I am sure they would sell .

I'm with you on that one. The club can only go by the ticket sales data it has. When these first went on sale, we were just coming off the back of a poor run. 2650 was, frankly, very optimistic.

If they take 3300 and we only sell 2500, that's quite a big free cheque we write to Southampton. Appreciate it's not a lot in the scheme of things, but there is also principle and reciprocity to consider.

Who else on here was on the 22:30 that got stopped for about 30 minutes as someone pulled the emergency cord? I didn't end up getting home until almost 1:30.

The coaches went along the M27 to Portsmouth and then up the A3 apart from roadworks around jct 9 of the M27 it was a good journey, but the A3 was shut at (i believe) Tolworth so instead of coming back via Mordon, Mitcham they went via Sutton

We parked literally 300m from the ground and left as soon as the 3rd goal went in , clear roads all the way .

No the Trinity open air council car park .

The one we were in was about 50 yards from a ramp which took you straight down to the stadium. Was a bit too good to be true but we were down there early.
