Final edit.

Basically, if you don't think you're gunna manage to get a ticket in the away end.
Tickets are on general sale *in the home end* on City's site, but you have to make an account which takes 2 minutes. Can buy up to 6 tickets as soon as you make an account. :D

It is likely we will sell out an allocation of about 3000 there? It's an early kick off and on telly as well.

No way will we sell out. People will choose Man Utd two weeks later out of the two.

Very much doubt we'll get close to a sell out if we haven't yet sold out Liverpool where ticket and travel costs a total of 20

True but it is a wanky KO time:wallbash:. Early or late games on a Sunday should be local( ish)games only.

Cheapest train tickets I've seen to Manchester are 75. Anyone found cheaper or have an alternative way of getting there?

When do ticket sales come?

Remember last year City were quite slow in sending the tickets across to our box office so they went on sale later than other aways.

Unbelievable ,we need all the support we can get up there and anyone prepared to get up at 4 a.m. to get on a coach for five hours or more should be given it free.

How long until the loyalty points are dropped for away travel altogether? Diabolical decision.

I await the next person with his head buried in the sand who comes on here and tells us all how we have the worlds greatest owner who cares about the fans etc.

Was 40pts last year.

Normally only Liverpool and Man Utd away that are 20pts outside of "London".

Is anyone else able to log in to the ticket site? It keeps saying my details are wrong (they aren't), and when it gives me the option to send my password to my email, it says the request can't be processed.

I was assuming we would only take the bottom two tiers and not use the top one. I wasn't expecting us to sell out with the kick off time.

Just spoken with the box office, we have sent back the 3rd tier.
We have taken blocks 113, 114, 213 & 214.

Currently we have sold all of 113 & half of 114, the upper blocks 213 & 214 have yet to go on sale apart from a few away season ticket holders who requested seats there.

I know it's a rubbish kick off time but surely we can get a bit more support up there ??

You'd hope we'd shift more tickets now its open to all members and they can buy two tickets per reference.

Etihad Campus is the station so trams either for Etihad Campus or Ashton-Under-Lyne will get you there.

A good half an hour from the city centre, it's the same as WHL being '20 minutes' from Seven Sisters.

You must be a fast walker Oli!

The metro is managed very well, so I would use that going. Just go down to it and it's pretty obvious. If you get it wrong, you'll arrive at Old Trafford a wee bit early.

Coming back there's a big line, so it can be worth the walk (even at a slower pace :))

If you go to Old Trafford on Saturday you may find yourself there two weeks early.

Joking aside the metro is very good when I've used it in Manchester before. I walked back post match once and that's not too bad either.
