Been to Leicester a total of 4 times. Twice with my Leicester supporting brother-in-law when Lineker was playing for you. 2-2 v Luton and same season 5-1 v Cov. Both times standing in the Kop. Once with our lot behind the goal, 2-2 in 1989 with my Leicester supporting wife and father-in-law. An experience for him as he'd never been in with the away fans and was surprised that we were locked in at the end and then got an escort. The last time was when Eric Young got sent off in the FA Cup and you won 1-0 when we sat along the side in the small stand. Where was that photo taken?

Its the old walkway to the Away End at Stamford Bridge Chelsea......if you had got this far you had done quite well and had a brief respite before the main event of getting home alive......yes I was at the games you mention...Luton would have been 80's when the away fans were put in the East Stand at the side I think.

Hi Leicester, decent draw for both clubs last Saturday. Sorry you just missed out in the Champions League on Tuesday.

Please stop singing that "You'll never sing that" song. You would have hated it if ManU, Chelsea etc. had sung it at you before last season.

When I was at Uni I was a steward at Leicester and thought the fans were a decent bunch, but they've gone right down in my estimation this season.

I think it was called the Brittania Slope, if memory serves me correct.

opposite the britannia pub which the bobbies advised you not to enter and the interns pressed their blobby faces against the misty windows

Pop...its banter....come on look at Everton the other week when at 2-4 down we sang ''you''ll never walk alone '' to them.....the toys went well and truly out of the pram on the internet.....they seemed to think having lost the match we were expected to be quiet when in fact we sang all through the game and were bloody good...At Palace I think we were all knackered......concerning the Walkway at Chelsea 4 of us arrived late once and had a group of Chelsea climb over the fence to attack us......

Spent a fair while after several matches in the 80s being kept in that area, or somewhere similar. OB used to keep you in for ages after matches at Chelsea back in 'the day.'

Coincidentally or not ... there was a pub called the Britannia just outside the ground in the Fulham Road ... now called the Kona Kai (WTF?)

Nah, leeds

Haven't been to Leeds for ages.

Have they built on that derelict land that used to be the coach/bus transfer park by the groound? It used to double as the area the Leeds mob used to ambush away fans and sneak on their transfer buses and start fights half way back to the station :moo:
