Hopefully a good win for Chelsea, should demoralise spurs even more
after the defeat at the weekend in the cup.

Southampton back in it: 1-1 and going close for a second.

With our enforced rotation tomorrow, i think our little miracle run will come to an end, although I expect us to get back on it against Burnley.

Still think Sam will at least start with the most key players, lets say the front 3 but just withdraw early, maybe very early depending on how things go. If we went 0-2 after 20 for example I wouldn't keep all those boys on for all that much longer. Might be harder to know whether to stick or twist if we got ahead but you could imagine His Samness maybe trying to just grind it out from there with the,Wilfs & Benteke's of this world relaxing somewhere.

The trouble with that is that you cannot guarantee to take them off if another player gets injured. Put them on the bench and only bring them on if needed.

No but it's a gamble whatever you do. You have to take a risk one way or another and there is luck involved naturally. You try to keep the odds in your favour. Still think he will do that with one or two. Could equally I guess bring them on later in the game if we are still in it but Pardew used to do that. Try and get something from the game as early as possible for me and then use your hand to defend it. Always harder to chase a game for me.

Saints only 2 points ahead of us btw... also better GD of about 4 before the game.

I take it we are wanting a Chelsea three pointer tonight? Spurs will be seven behind with a handful of games left. Can only be good as they take the pitch tomorrow.

I don't think Sam will put out a weak team, I think it is just mind games aimed at Spurs

I think it was so they could get in all the TV games rearranged from the FA Cup Quarter Final weekend. It will be similar again in the final midweek of the season.

**** me - what on earth would Mark Dennis think of Sanchez taking & posting photos of his 'swollen lip'

http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/39729222

And who the **** doesn't know that you can't stand right next to/in front of the taker of the throw in?

"In the first two attempts when Fuchs tried to throw the ball in, Sanchez stood next to him and didn't know he had to be further away," said Wenger.

Aguero is a cock but Fellani lost it and chose the wrong person to put their head against. Both wankers, both teams are full of wankers! Hate them Both, Man United a bit more though.

Ok so we won't be expected to get anything from both these teams in the coming weeks, but with all the supposed talent on show neither team really showed that much. Having beaten Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool and running Spurs close, we're more than capable of getting something from those two games. Shame Sakho will be out though!

Cheers maestro. A theatrical reaction from Aguero, and Fellaini was an idiot for giving him that nudge. That wouldn't knock a normal person though. I copped something of similar strength last season but from a short bloke and he busted my lip. I turned to the ref and simply said "he's got to go for that" only for the ref to say "you didn't go down, it can't have been that bad." Doubly annoying was that he blew the full time whistle shortly afterwards so I didn't get a chance to seek revenge with a late/high challenge.
