He is crap. Would be third choice at best.

Jakupovic is playing week in week out so clearly he's better. ;)

Similar level to Hennessey so seems rather pointless unless he's off.

Not the upgrade we need/desire.

Does anyone else think we might keep Wayne as our number one for next season anyway? Despite his flaws he has improved recently and we will have some limit to the money we spend. If we are considering paying 20m + for Sakho (and his wages), offering Wilf a bumper deal, getting some competition at right back, a backup for Luka to replace Flamini and Ledley, a new striker or two will be a must too.

Isn't it possible we decide to re-sign Wayne as our No.1?

If we were going to keep him then I would have thought we would have offered him a contract by now.

Could have been waiting to see what division we are in first before we consider what/ how much/ how long to offer? Or Sam could have wanted to see him close up more before he decided on him.

Also, Kelly's new contract was kept very quiet for several months. Could have already happened for all we know.

He's awful. Remember watching him in the playoffs for Hull last season against Derby and I thought they had an outfield player in goal. No idea how he is starting in the prem week in week out?

Where would Wayne be off to? It's not like we ever hear anyone is after him

As far as we know he is out of contract this summer.

People are being very unfair to Jakupovic, as from what i have seen of him on tv on many occasions he was their saviour, and for me looks a decent keeper. But my concern would be if he is seen as our First choice as he is not much of an improvement on WH if at all, far better to go for a proven quality premiership keeper and Fabianski fits that bill perfectly.

Leicester City are in advanced talks with Hull City goalkeeper Eldin Jakupovic about a deal believed to be for a fee of about 2m, reports BBC Leicester Sport.

Close thread !!
