According to twitter we are trying to sign Brentford keeper Daniel Bentley. Sullay KK going the other way as part of the deal.

Yes please would be excellent to develop behind a decent number 1. Still young enough to learn.

Probably a good move for Sullay, that, if we can keep Wilf.

Is a good and improving keeper possibly as Third choice should Julian retire, he is not ready or good enough for being 1st choice in the premiership, and would also be a gamble to have as reserve. Ideally we need someone like Fabianski or Begovic as First choice, with Hennessey in reserve, and Bentley would make a good developing player in addition.

Agree as that's a very good level.

Even the best make mistakes though from time to time. The trouble is our number 1 seems to every week.

The thing I like about Bentley is his almost arrogant side. I find you have to have that sometimes, Neuer is a great example (taking away his general keeping for a second), the fact he swaggers about on the pitch, it's intimidating to the opposition and nothing wrong with believing in your own ability for me.

Look at Hennessey as an example of the opposite. He looks like he is going to shit himself whenever he walks on the pitch and it clearly has an effect on the defenders in front of him. Thankfully we had Sakho bringing the swagger recently which compensated for Wayne's lack of.
