Would love Wednesday to come up considering we relegated them not so long ago. Hopefully be like 97/98 season again when we took all 6 points off them :p

Promotion plus palace smashing them for 6 points would be golden in chez SE5.

Missus and FIL are both Wednesday.

Am practising my magnanimous face in the mirror as I type.

Come on bananaman!

HAHA Of course. Just remember us doing the double over them that season as a mate of mine at school supported them and they were an established prem side at the time. Was a rare thing for me to be able to join in with the Premier League Merlin Sticker swapping, so enjoyed those two victories :D

I remember being at Hillsborough for the 3-1 and we were superb that day. Was driving back after, listening to 606 and there was talk of us challenging for Europe. We went to absolute shit not long after though. :(

They are very stressful. My Leeds supporting mate always says he doesn't know what I'm worried about because Palace always go up through the Play Offs. Not quite true, but he has a fair point:D

Was definitely one of the highlights of the season. We scored two goals from outside the penalty box :lux:

Was that when we were 3 nil up at HT and Clinton ended his away goal drought ? Remember singing 'he's scored away, he's scored away, he's scored, clinton's scored away'

Think they scored straight after HT and I had the old 'we're gonna lose this 4-3' feeling.

See, I've always been a pessimistic twathouse !

100% only game of interest is the play offs. Atmosphere will be 1000 times better than an old Trafford sleep a thon. Can't bear to watch most premier league games when you can literally hear the manager and players shouting at each other.

I thought Man Utd were resting players leading up - that team doesn't really look like an u23 squad.

No we were 1-0 up at HT. Think we went 2-0 up just after HT and then they got one back but Shipperley scored a lovely third to finish it. I think the other scorers were Herman and Jolly. Clinton scored his first goal.for Palace in the last game of that season. Ironically in the last minute against Sheffield Weds. I suppose you can class that as ending a drought. :D
