Now I know it was only one game but he played very well yesterday. Could be worth investigating , low cost loan or purchase. Looks like he can play just behind Christian. Good movement and great shots

Looked the best of the bunch in terms of Man United's young players. Probably the best on the pitch overall, in fact.

Having said that, I reckon I could have a good at taking on Ward.

Are you in line or the England managers job. A man u kid scores on his debut and he's world class?

Been waiting for this post since the game finished. So predictable !!
Never heard of him before as i'm not interested in Man Utd. He scores against us on his debut & now someone suggests him.

No thank you.

About to have his pick from a number of big European clubs. Fantastic player.

He did say it was only from one game his view is based on.

But as I can see you are a bit clueless in general

Ripped Ward apart. I think that highlighted more of where we need to invest?

1. No
2. Where did I say he was world class?
3. Using loans will be key to a successful year with our current wage structure.
4. Why am I even replying to your post when you compare him negatively to Iheanacho, someone who will move to a top tier club this summer if he leaves Man City?
5. I suggested might be worth investigating

Don't make me laugh! I'm sure Manchester Utd will be up for letting any of their future stars go when they're so close to being in their first team. :S:

I didn't like the arrogance of his celebration for a debutant. Billy Big Bollocks.

He was made to look good because our defence was so poor, the goal he scored said it all, he was allowed to cut inside and then given the freedom and space to curl into top corner.
But fair play to the lad he took it well and was a thorn all game long to us, but please to even suggest we consider him after playing ONE senior game is sheer madness.

Why ever not, it's part and parcel of the modern game, Cliff Holton never did it.:D
The lad was thrilled to have scored on his full debut.

The biggest knee-jerk since we signed Alex Dyer.

He is reportedly out of contract but would still cost a tribunal fee due to age.

Exactly. Connor Wickham put a couple of goals past us when playing for Sunderland, we bought him and guess what......

I don't recall Wickham scoring against us, but even if he did, surely people don't have the opinion of him that 6m was a silly fee? He had no bad injury history prior to signing and with a cracked rib and an ACL tear, he's had some pretty bad luck. There's a player in there if he gets a chance and can stay fit.

He's also a totally different prospect to a bloke who has played one Prem game at the back end of the season against a team that probably felt for the first time in several months that the pressure was off.

Full respect to the lad for leaving the wankers; a) because they are wankers and b) because he is prepared to drop down a level to play first team football c) he has backed himself to show what he can do

Macheda was so over rated. Been living off that goal he scored on his debut for years.

Scored for Preston today and playing well apparently . For all those that derided this suggestion given our current state it would have been 600 k well spent

Agreed. Young promising talent...anyone remember when we would be all over those (Dyer, Jansen, Bent, Freedman, Gray) at a bargain price.

Will sell for ten times that price soon.

Reading the start of this thread is so predictable and like many others. One person says that the suggestion is shit and predictable and everyone follows suit.
