Always worth having a punt on this as we tend to get a lot of rumours on the BBS before they hit the news.

My usual approach is to back a couple of outsiders that would make sense and lay anyone who's about to have an interview as they're usually heavily odds-on when being reported to be on the verge of signing. Sometimes works, sometimes doesn't,

So far I've had a crack at Silva 12-1 on betfair sportsbook

Exchange looks very volatile.

Every time I look at some odds there is a shift are the bookies reading the bbs?

Sky Bet offering 33/1 on Sam Allardyce to be next manager

Amazingly there were even shorter odds on Pulis after he left. Which is all the more surprising after what we now know!

How very not funny.

Low odds on Silva everywhere now but no money going on him on Betfair Exchange. Had a pop at Dyche (14-1 Betvictor) and small one at Hodgson (20-1 Betvictor)

I'm going to lump it all on Coleman just as a safeguard.

Now seems a good time to lay Silva on Betfair if you got a decent price on him. A few bets going in at less than 2.0.

Seem to be mainly driven by a Sun article which says he's set to be named manager but doesn't appear to be very well researched. That's not to say he won't be obv.

Don't think it will be either of the two front runners personally.

Tactic worked alright this time whatever happens:
Backed Silva at 12-1. Laid him at 3.0
Backed Dyche at 14-1, Laid him at 2.3
Backed Hodgson at 20-1, laid him at 4.5

Happy this morning turned Betfair Green across the board for a small amount laying Dyche at 2.0 but still leaving a nice little profit if it his him. Cleared the heart not head gamble on Sam but if he changes his mind then very very happy.....
I cannot see any other outsider coming in enough at the moment unless Dyche turns us down.
Makes the Warnock/Clarke gamble look small though and unfortunately I was convinced that we would go Clarke so despite winning a small amount from backing and then laying Warnock it could of been a hell of a lot more.
