Sorry if there's already a thread...

May be available this summer according to this article: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2017/06/26/manchester-united-turn-third-choice-target-nemanja-matic-frustrating/

What's not to like ?

- Young
- Dutch
- Versatile - can fill in at full back, defensive mid and centre back.
- already has premier league experience and impressed at Bournemouth last year

Let's hope FDB can have a little word if he fancies bringing in some young Dutch talent.

Good shout. Just mentioned him on the Sakho thread as an alternative, cheaper option and a ball player

Isn't he going to to Bournemouth for 20m?

He is not worth 20m. For the first transfer window in circa 5 years, we are not in the market for a left back (which is where he has played predominately) and given his utter failure to win headers in that position (see Wickham's header versus Watford in FA Semi Final), it's a no from me.

Imagine what transfer fees will be like in 5 years?!

Not sure about five years, but in future they'll likely be bigger for the biggest teams, and smaller for everyone else: the TV model won't continue as it is, and once clubs get the power to negotiate their own individual TV deals, financial disparities will grow massively.
