Rumoured to be a big admirer of De Boer second choice at spurs with only a year left on his deal.

Was good at Swansea. Have to question his motivation to play after sitting on the bench for years

Only thing that concerns me with keepers like him is he's reliant on his aglity and speed. That decreases as you hit 30+, the likes of Buffon, Van Der Saar etc can go on for years because they've got more to their goalkeeping.

An improvement I guess, but would he be enough of an improvement to make any deal worthwhile?

A few years ago maybe.

Wouldn't be against this. Was Swans player of the season a few years back and deemed good enough to deputise for a team chasing the title.

Concerns over his lack of games recently but as with most of our signings if there weren't an element of concern they probably wouldn't be coming here.

Exactly why we shouldn't sign him.:wallbash:

He's too short for my liking too.

Not even sure I'd consider him an improvement at all really. And even if you could argue he was an improvement, I think the second point you make is entirely accurate - not enough of one to be worthwhile.

Certainly not in his prime. Would take if for cheap/a free. Financially we are going to have to make some compromises fee wise in certain positions.

True, but begovic did the same at Chelsea and most of us would have taken him

So are we going to get linked with every Dutchman playing in England now?

No, anywhere. As long as they are Dutch
