Then they remove it...

The main stand will probably look uglier again :)

The main stand was only clad a few years ago. You would like to think with the money Palace earn these days, that they went for an approved panel or one with a mineral wool (or equivalent) insulation.

Saying that, I have been on jobs where the specification shows an approved panel, but the contractor decided to save money and buy the cheaper ones. Once they have been erected, there is no way of telling.

One of the first things I thought of when the fire was put down to cladding. Is there any kind of sprinkler system? Doubt it. We really need to uphold the smoking ban in the stadium. Puts you off stopping in a Premier Inn, all of which seem to be clad

Very boring to read, but the club has stacks of safety procedures it has to adhere to

Premier Inn were one of the first companies, after the fire, to put their hands up re cladding. They admitted that 3 of their 750 odd hotels could be a risk. l think you, Lenny Henry and all those "scaffolders" will be safe.

At least Brighton fans will be well prepared should anything happen at the Amex

All those drills not wasted. And we laughed, little realising the grand plan.
