Bournemouth linked again along with Nathan Ake. Surely we should be at least sniffing around this one?

looks a quality player, and can cover a couple of positions and systems

Not sure on Bergovic - can keepers recover after sitting on the bench for so long? They seem to lose a lot and are never quite the same.

Been saying this for month Bubbs. Bournemouth trying to get him for 10m apparently, but Chelsea want 12m. I hope Mandanda isn't homestick and stay, but if he is something need to be done pronto, as we will go down with Hennessey in between the sticks IMO

Oh right! That's why we beat the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool with him in the side. He's not the best goalkeeper in the world but he's vastly improved under Sam's management and done a good job recently. Time for you and a good few others to get off his case IMO. Since the Bournemouth game he's been pretty good (not excellent) with six clean sheets

Indeed. But surely he'd rather come here? If we were interested, of course.

London>Bournemouth, bigger club, better players, higher wages?

That line of thought worked well with Wilshere

Apparently that was because he didn't rate Pardew but did rate Eddie Howe, which I can't blame him for.

Many would agree with you but I'd put my money on Begovic preferring London, especially if his family are already settled here.

No. Bournemouth offered him higher wages. Nothing to do with preferring Howe over Pardew.

How much is he on at Bournemouth?

There is very very big money underpinning Bournemouth. And they have scant regard for FFP rules, happy to pay the fines if necessary.

Also is his best mate also not a Bournemouth player?

Ironically Howe also dropped him from the starting line up

Fair enough. London is an amazing city IMO, with so much to discover.

A millionaire footballer can afford to live anywhere he likes though, surely the fancy parts of London above the fancy parts of Bournemouth?

Maybe, but you get more fancy parts for your money in Bournemouth than in London. It really depends what one is looking for. I am sure there is more to do in London, but if you want a quieter life and a county estate then away from London would be better. I remember years ago when I worked for a big utility company, I worked for the South Eastern region and I met some people at a conference who worked for the East Midlands region. While we lived in the London area in flats, they all lived in 4 bedroom detached houses in the country, yet with London waiting we actually earned more money than they did.

Bits of Bournemouth - Sandbanks in particular (home to the Redknapps and Pulis's) are just as expensive as London. 5m is entry-level for waterfront stuff.

Bournemouth Sandbanks is one of most expensive property locations in the world, has wonderful beaches and hospitality and is so close to beautiful West Dorset, and the New Forest. It is less than a couple of hours from London, and Europe is on the doorstep from Bournemouth International Airport.

Did you copy and paste that from a brochure?
